he Supertech Twin Towers in Noida were demolished today in a massive explosion. Over 3,700 kg of explosives were used to bring the two towers down, resulting in a sea of smoke and debri engulfing the area. The nearly 100-metre-high towers - taller than Delhi's Qutub Minar - were the tallest structures ever to be demolished in India. Footage shot on a drone shows the twin towers turning to dust within 9 seconds.

TWIN TOWER TWIST
Noida: Supertech twin towers ahead of
their demolition
The Supreme Court has ordered that the Noida
Twin Towers, the highest structure in India,be destroyed on
August 28. The structure taller than the Qutub Minarwould be
brought down with explosives weighing at least 3,700 kilograms
Participatory Guarantee System of India (PGS) Portal etc. As we
know by the end of 2024 govt. of Indiahas aimed to increase
farmers' income twice.
The Rise (2004-2006)
In 2004, Supertech Ltd received a piece of land in Sector 93A
from the New Okhla Industrial DevelopmentAuthority (NOIDA)
for the developmentof a housing society that would later
become known as the Emerald Court. In June 2005, under the
New Okhla Industrial DevelopmentArea BuildingRegulations
and Directions 1986, the Authority approvedthe buildingplan
for the construction of 14 stories on June 20, 2005. The
company was approved to erect a total of 14 towers, each with
ten stories and a maximum height restriction of 37 meters.
Supertech received more land granted for buildingunder the
same terms in June 2006.
HARSH KUMAR
The Crack (2009-2014)
The originalproposal was modified by the developersin 2009
to include two additionalbuildingsand 11 stories. The home
developmentnow includes a shopping center in the amended
plans.
In 2012, the overall number of floors of Apex and Ceyane
increased to 40 each. According to Supertech, this fell under
the Noidaconstruction requirements of 2010. The Residents’
Welfare Association (RWA) moved to AllahabadHigh Court by
the end of 2012. The UP Apartment Owners Act, 2010 was
allegedlybreached by the Twin Towers. Additionally,a garden-
designated space in the originalbrochure was allegedly
encroached upon by the Twin Towers. Homeowners claimed
that the buildingswere builtwith less than 16 meters between
them, in violationof the law. In 2014, the AllahabadHigh Court
ordered the demolitionof the NoidaTwin Towers. It asked
Supertech to pay 14% interest on the money it returned to the
homebuyers. Additionally, the court asked that the Twin
Towers be sealed
The Fall (2021-2022)
In August 2021, the Supreme Court affirmed the AllahabadHigh
Court's decisionand ordered the structures to be demolished,
stating that they had been built in violationof the regulations.
Many applicationsfrom homebuyers in favor of and against the
Allahabad HighCourt's decision led to the apex court's
conclusion.Authorities from Noida informed the Supreme
Court in February 2022 that the demolitionwork had started
and was expected to be finished by May 22. The Supertech
Twin buildings' demolitiondeadlinewas, however, extended by
the top court to August 28. The Supreme Court has stated that
August 28 may be upheldas the date of demolition, with a
"bandwidthof seven days" between August 29 and September
4 to accommodate for any minor lag times caused by weather
or technical difficulties.
WHAT IS THE TWIST
The government is looking for a high-end rate. Thisall
permission was given by the government officialsin 2005. If
there is a quoted line “good governance” then all the
permission shouldbe void before the construction. 925 flats
were created not in one day it was developedin 6 years where
are the officers who are not responsible at that time? This is a
bank of the vote.
