Well, it has been long long time that I did not venture on ay trip but time has come for one as my newly born son has gone on to 30+ days.

1. Traveling for next 5 days | Spiti Valley,
Himachal Pradesh
Well, it has been long long time that I did not venture on ay trip but time has come for one as my
newly born son has gone on to 30+ days. I feel before he starts recognizing me and start crying
to tug along my side even going out of room/house, it is one last chance to make an arduous
and unplanned journey. Soon, the travel for me will be much more disciplined and thoughtfully
planned and of course with prior booking at least till the time little hero grows to a certain age. I
though why not wrap it up with may be on last driving sprint through the Trans – Himalayan
region. Hence, today I am on the way towards Spiti Valley with yet another hope of making it to
the mesmerizing views. The planned itinerary for the next 5 days will be as follow…
 Day 1 | Delhi – Nako/Puh
 Day 2 | Puh/Nako – Geyu – Tabo – Dhankar – Dhankar Lake – Lalung – Tabo/Mane Village
 Day 3 | Tabo/Mane Village – Pin Valley – Langza – Komic – Hikkim – Losar
 Day 4 | Losar – Ki – Kibber – Gette – Tashigang – Demul – Tabo – Nako/Puh/Peo
 Day 5 | Nako/Puh/Peo – Delhi
The plan is tentative and we do not know what will be explored and what will be left depending
upon the time so little time on hands. However, the packing has been done and the checklist for
the list of things to carry (documented here) have been cross checked twice for any
misplacements. Few major changes that has been undertaken on this trip are –
 Carrying lots of distributable item as charity including woolens, candies, chocolates, pens, diaries,
crayons, pencil colors, notebooks etc.
 Attempt to record the GPS trails for the entire five days and share them as GPX/KML files as
download resources
The plan is simple – “To explore as much as you can in next 5 days and bring back loads of
information and pictures with fond memories”… I hope and wish for a successful trip. I will be back
soon and hence will be offline for few days.
