Do they have the right to arrest people ?
What is religion?
It is a particular system of faith and belief concerning the
cause, nature and the purpose of the universe. There is a
huge number of religions in the world with the major
religions being Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and
Hinduism. Each religion has its own concept of God as
well as a different lifestyle as guided by its religious
leaders. It can be clearly observed that every person
possesses a distinct lifestyle according to their own
interest, activities, opinion and attitude

6. What the law says???
1973 constitution and UDHR , both clearly
emphasizes on the religious rights of
majorities as well as minorities.
1973 constitution established Islam as the
state religion and it requires that laws be
consistent with Islam. This constitution
restricts religious freedom.
7. Articles of 1973 Constitution :
Article 20
The article of the constitution Provide freedom of religion Majority and
minority and to manage their religious institutions . (A) every citizen have
the right to practice and propagate his religion.
(B) Every religious denomination and every sector therefore shall have all the
rights to establish maintain and manage its religious institutions”
Article 26
This article tells about Right of access of non-
religious persons to public places. It mentions that
there shall be no restriction on anyone if he is a
Muslim or non-Muslim to go to specific place.
Every person of any religion is allowed to go to
public places.
8. UDHR and Right to Religion
The United Nation promote for International peace. Universal Declaration of
human rights makes clear that all human beings are born free and are equal in
rights.
Article 1
“All human beings are Born Free and equal in dignity and rights. they are
endowed with reason and conscience introduce towards one another in spirit of
Brotherhood”
Article 2
It clears article (1) by this statement “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedom set forth in their
declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion”
9. Freedom of Religion in Islam
The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim
minority, curtails their rights, burdens them with more than
they can bear, or takes anything from them against their
free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the
person on the Day of Judgment." Abu Dawud
We should not force others to believe in our
religion. As Allah said in Surah Al- Baqarah:
(There is no compulsion in religion.)
10. Religious Conflicts
A religious war or Holy war is a war that is caused or justified by differences
in religions. .
Medieval Conflict between Jews and Christians:
In the Second World War the Nazi Germany that lead by Hitler killed
about 6 Million Jews, and persons with disabilities horrified the world.
Because Jews people used to killed children and Christian people.
Pakistan and India:
People were fighting each other because of religion. But in 1947 the two
states were separated in two countries which is India emerged as a secular
nation with a Hindu majority, while Pakistan was established as an Islamic
republic with Muslim majority population.
11. The Bosnian war:
Over 8000 Muslim were killed by the Serbian military
forces. During this conflict Muslims seemed to pay the
highest price. It was so clear that the aim was to cleans
the country from Muslims.
Israel and Palestine conflict:
The violence between Israel and Palestine today is a religious, political
and ethics conflict. It leads to conflict between Muslims and Jews. In
1929, religious tensions between Muslim and Jewish Palestinians over
Jews praying at the Wailing Wall led to the 1929 Palestine riots
including the Hebron and Safed ethnic cleansings of Jews.
12. Conflict in Myanmar between Muslim and Buddhist:
Today Myanmar is one of the largest refugee crises in the world.
people of Rohingya killed hundreds of Muslims, mosques have been
destroyed, and hundreds of thousands have been forced to flee their
homes. Because Buddhist sermons usually contain Islamophobic
topics and messages such as unsubstantiated rumors of Muslim
violence against Buddhists or Muslim plots to take over the country
and destroy Buddhism.
The Uighurs and the Chinese state:
Members of Muslim say that they were detained, interrogated,
and beaten because of their religion. Many say it clearly, they
were interned, not "re-educated". The mosque were closed and
people were forced to eat non-halal foods and they can not fast
during Ramadhan.
13. Highlighted Islamophobic Incidents Across the Globe
New Zealand, March 2019:
On March 2019, an Islamophobic incident occurred in Christchurch,
New Zealand. A 28 years old man, Brenton Tarrant, attacked at two
mosques in Christchurch. He killed 49 Muslims.
Norway, August 2019:
In Norway, an anti-Muslimism extremist burnt the Holy Quran in
public. He was shielded by the Norway police. A Muslim guy tried to
stop him but police arrested him instead of stopping the extremist.
14. Canada, January 2017:
A 27 years old man, Bissonnette, killed six Muslim worshippers and
injured 19 people in an attack at a Quebec City mosque during
prayers.
France, 2020:
French president ‘Macron’ made an Islamophobic statement that “Islam
is a crisis in the world”. He mentioned that he wanted to modernize Islam
by banning Hijab. An incident happened which involved a teacher who
made cartoons of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), when a student tried to
stop the teacher by attacking her, police arrived and shot the student.
15. We may have different religions, different languages,
different colored skin, but we all belong to one human
race.
"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no
superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any
superiority over an Arab; also a White has no superiority over
a Black nor a Black has any superiority over a White except by
piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to
every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one
brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which
belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and
