GOVERNANCE

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY


“Corporate Social Responsibility”
means and includes:
Where a companies integrate
social and other useful concerns
in their business operations for
the betterment of their
stakeholders & society in general
in a voluntary way
Projects & program relating to
activities mentioned in Schedule
VII of companies act 2013 or
activities undertaken by Board of
Directors as per CSR policy or
recommended by CSR
committee
REASON FOR SELECTING
COCA-COLA


There are two reasons for selecting this
company for their CSR efforts :
Coca-Cola has a market capitalization
of $244.88 billion and has 60% market
share in corbonated soft drinks , so
with market leadership there is a huge
expectation in terms of their efforts
toward CSR activities
While doing my research for the
companies I observed that Coca-Cola
has increased its CSR spendings from
64cr in 2016 to 100cr in 2020 due to
health awareness & negative effects
of carbonated drinks on body in recent
years
