2DCC Relay Series
The modelled 2DCC relay series covers the complete known range of non-directional
relays. The model also allows for separate earth fault CT inputs if required. In case of
SEF and EF present in one relay, these CT’s can also be independently selected.
Not Modelled Functionalities
The high set is only one setting in reality, which multiplies with each individual phase
IDMT current setting to determine a final high set current for each phase. To model the
same functionality, a separate high set element was modelled for each phase or earth
current.
The relay high set has a time curve which is a function of current setting. PowerFactory
does not have the functionality to model such a curve. However, the curve could be
reasonably approximated with a DT function as the error margin is relatively small.
