Green house gasses
-Many of the gases that occur in the
earth’s atmospheric are greenhouse
gases. They include carbon dioxide,
methane, water vapour.
-Greenhouse gases occur both
naturally and due to human activity.
-A greenhouse gas is one which traps
heat radiated from the surface of the
earth.

Global Warming
-Global warming is the long-term rise
in the average temperature of the
Earth’s climate system.
Major factors of global warming
include deforestation,
overpopulation, ozone layer
depletion, air pollution and garbage
dumping.

-Pollution refers to the release of chemical
or substances into the environment.
-Pollution disturb the balance of the
ecosystem.
Causes of pollution are burning of fossil fuels,
agricultural related activities, mining operations,
