Football fix 7

  1. 1. Football Fix 7-a-side Rules GAME CANCELLATION PROCEDUREBY A CAPTAIN If a team cannot make a scheduled fixture they must contact the manager of the venue AT LEAST 12hrs before the scheduled fixture & receive confirmation either via e-mail or verbally. All venue manager contactdetails can be found in your WEEKLY FIXTURE REMINDER alternatively you send an e-mail via our CONTACT PAGE Captains not wanting to cancel can LOGIN and find individuals via our ringers database or find players on our Facebookgroup (Football Fix Ringers) Failure to do so will result in the following:  -2 points deduction  Potential fine of the game fee if we are unable to find a replacement team for the opposition Quick list of Rules Objective:: Get the ball in the back of the oppositiongoal as many times as possible Rules: Our 7 A side rules are basically regulation 11 A Side rules with the following exceptions:  All players must be loaded into the team profile. The info required is: Name, Surname, Mobile & e-mail 1. Captains can do so by logging in adding them 2. Sending the details to the league manager who will load them in for you.  Players must play at the following amount of game during regular season to be eligible for playoffs  Based on an 10 week season with 1 grading game (minimum of 3 round robin games)  Based on an 10 week season with 2 grading games (minimum of 2 round robin games)  Based on an 11 week season with 1 or 2 grading games (minimum of 3 round robin games)  Limited Sliding  There are no off-sides  The Goal-keeper cannot punt or drop kick the ball out of their hands  2 Match balls provided per game (Players kicking the ball out of bounds (over fences) must go fetch them before the spare ball will be introduced into play) And Remember
  2. 2.  Limited Sliding  Sliding Definition: Leaving your feet in a reckless manner be it forwards, backwards or sideways direction from an upright position when players are near you, where the referee feels it was unsafe or may have led to a dangerous outcome.  We will allow players to slide to:  Intercept a pass  Stop a ball from going out  Slide to scorea goal / prevent a goal (no sliding into keepers)  Please note this will be up to the discretion of the referee, on what he / she would deem to be unsafe.  If they feel the defender has slid in the box in a dangerous manner then a penalty will be awarded.  Goal Keepers are still allowed to slide as long as they are within the goal area, but should remember to do this with the correcttechnique  No verbal abuse towards the referee or players – we’re all here to have fun! ProtocolRegarding using Ringers/fill-in players  Firstly your team organizer should speak with the opposingteam organizer. Explain your situation and ask them if they mind if you get a one or two players to play for your team  If they conform to this then you should only get players that play in your division or a division below. If you are unsure of the division that the player plays in simply ask the players or the referee  If your registered players turn up during the game then you should substitute the fill-in players and they should not take any further part in the game. Do not continue to use the fill-ins as subs  If the opposition captain doesn’tallow you to have the fill-ins (and he/she is perfectly in their right to do so) then you’ll either need to play the game with less players or risk losing the game by default Comprehensive List of Rules Introduction  The following is a comprehensive list of rules and regulations relating to the playing of 7-A- Side Football at Football Fix TeamStructure
