In October, 2015, alumni of the DC Seminar reunited to share memories and discover opportunities for collaboration, ongoing learning, and philanthropy. The reunion marked the first of ongoing engagement events and opportunities. The Washington DC Human Rights Seminar provides an experiential learning opportunity for students to engage with human rights policy at national and international levels. While in DC, students participate in intensive seminars and briefings with a variety of institutions and policy makers. Since 1991, more than 400 students have taken part, and alumni often reference it as one of their most formative learning experiences.
