WALMART
Retail giant Walmart needed to handle the mammoth spike in demand
during the holiday shopping season. For instance, 70 percent of online
holiday traffic—and 22 percent of total online sales—came from mobile
devices on Cyber Monday 2014. The company trusted the scalability and
unmatched reliability of z Systems to adapt to major market pressures.
RADIXX INTERNATIONAL
This airline hosting and distribution platform processes crucial personal data,
like credit card and passport information. Radixx replaced its 172 x86 cores
with 10 z Systems cores—making its data more secure even as it
reduced its total cost of ownership.
BANORTE
With 1 million mobile users and 5 million ATM visits a month, the bank
Banorte has to manage millions of transactions. Banorte used IBM z Systems
to integrate all banking channels in the back end for the first time in its history.

accessible and rewarding to students right now is a priority.

IBM announced at Edge2015 that it will continue to cultivate the next generation of
