The need of the hour is to provide financial
security to the informal sector.
India’s Informal sector creates the biggest
work force in the world.
These are the biggest vote banks.
The proper utilization of the power of
informal sector can make the Dreams of
country come true.

such as NJD in Hoshangabad, NineIsMine in Delhi, Make
Poverty History in Delhi, Make A Difference, Prayas etc.
and interacted with different levels and types of Informal

9. Employment exchange used to act as a Data
Base for the newly working population in Older
times.
Likewise, reviving this way of Registration for
Informal sector and collecting Information like
Employer, Weekly wage, Season of work,
facilities promised etc.
This will also be beneficial to informal sector
employers as they can find the workers of
required skill set and qualifications.

POLICY #3
10. Almost every informal Sector worker works in a
certain group of people acting as a Union in that
area, Eg: Group of Vendors, Group of Autowalas,
Group of maids working in specific residential area
etc.
These can be registered and Recognized into formal
Unions which will give us an authentic Database as
well as Method to identify their Needs and Demands.

11. During maternity of a female informal sector
worker, a certain amount of pay will be
provided for the first two children ONLY.
This would enable the women to leave the Daily
work and have a safe and Hygienic child birth
not adversely affecting her weekly income of the
household.
This policy will also be a breakthrough in
providing a woman her rights and social stature.
