audience videos are consumed on the
web, in 2011. In this article, he
shares his point of view on ongoing
fourth industrial revolution and its
impact on everyday life.
We live in amazing time of fourth
industrial revolution. The industrial
revolution surpasses the scope of
ICT, transforms the world and
businesses, jobs and life styles. The
concepts such as digital
transformation, artificial intelligence
and connected objects, incarnated
into smartphones, are already hiding
in our pockets. The self-driving cars
leave science fiction and arrive into
reality. The old professions go into
oblivion and get replaced by new
exciting jobs.
The artificial intelligence based
solutions are already present in many
cross-domains and quite often used
by professionals and businesses to
smarter use time and improve
productivity. These solutions can
manage financial portfolios and
decrypt genetic code, pilot robots and
drive cars, entertain people and even
be creative. As an example, the
cliperie.com platform creates new
compelling clips by automatically
linking audience videos all together
from big data cloud.
The big data becomes de facto fuel
of XXI century and industrial
revolution. The amount of
information, which is being gathered
and transmitted by digital gadgets,
sensors and internet of things,
surpasses any imagination.
Constantly increasing and improving
population of digital objects results
in constantly improving quantity and
quality of data, while the next 5G
mobile networks are going to take
care about increasing digital data
traffic. The big data surrounds us and
helps to come up with efficient
solutions.
There are already more than fifteen
billion connected objects worldwide.
The population of connected devices
will surpass fifty billions in less than
five years. The internet of things,
network of connected devices, is
already present in commercial and

20. industrial, consumer and infrastructure areas: from
connected wearable heart monitor wristbands to
connected pullovers, from connected security cameras to
connected alarms, from connected parking lot sensors to
connected displays of available places.
The internet of things in turn enables smart tiers of
technologies as smart homes, smart parking, smart traffic
control and smart cities. The smart home hubs control
communication among connected thermostats and stores,
heating systems and other connected objects to enable
home automation, energy savings and higher quality of
life. The smart cities enable to reduce traffic jams and
adjust public transportation in real-time, tighten security
control and predict unforeseen events, reduce noise
pollution and improve air quality.
Constantly connected digital gadgets continue to pull
further more people from reality to social networks and
virtual worlds. The choice of remote communication
still outfights real life communication. The picture of the
family together with each member navigating within its
own virtual world on smartphone starts to be everyday
occurrence. The same picture can be observed in the
trains, airports and other places. However, some people
started to apply reasonable moderation.
Even when people put away connected gadgets and back
to physical world, the following interaction might be
with nearby humanoid robot. Powered with same
artificial intelligence as their virtual compatriots, they
can follow conversations, understand individual social
signals and respond appropriately. Their social
interaction ability keeps improving, making future
humanoid robots irreplaceable companions and assistants
in nursing homes and hospitals, hotels and
commercial stores.
The industrial robots are separate topic. The global
robot density in the manufacturing industries is
accelerating around the world and there is already at
least one industrial robot per 100 working people in
more than 20 countries worldwide. The ongoing trend to
automate production helps industries to be more
competitive on the global market and has positive impact
on job market in many countries due to manufacturing
stays at home instead of being moved overseas.
The tangible shift in professions happens with all
industrial revolutions. The current one is not an
exception. Some professions get automated, freeing up
people to do new tasks: data management, data
interpretation, digital marketing management, robot
supervision, process control, process moderation,
intervention in unforeseen situations, quality control and
so on. The automated places can enable work week
reduction and equilibrate shift in social insurances
caused by increasing life expectancy.
The advances in technologies enable to process more
data with less energy and smarter use available
resources. The paradox in our society is that the focus
still stays on profitability and growth over durability and
climate sustainability. As consequence, the digital
footprint on global energy consumption keeps
increasing from year to year and can reach one fifth by
2030, regardless it is feasible to pursue industrial
revolution at moderate pace within fixed energetic
envelope until there is an excess of renewable energy.
The years will pass. The artificial intelligence, big data
and internet of things will become ordinary tools in
many areas of our life just like electricity and telephones,
internet and personal computers did during previous
industrial revolutions. No one will be questioning them
anymore. They stay under human control. The human
society is free to decide up to which extent new
technologies and innovations have to be validated,
regulated and certified for future everyday use.

Department BPG Group
of . He is a
CEO of Polish market and the
company in Poland is called BPG
Polska Audyt Sp. z o.o. He shares his
great insight towards organization’s
journey and its specialized solutions
and services. He has broadly discussed
about company’s core competencies
and about how company is establishing
in the market. He has also shared
company’s overall status and its
functionalities used in various sectors.
Below are the highlights of the
interview conducted between Cezary
and Insights Success:
Give a brief overview of BPG, its
solutions, and services?
In 2002 BPG opened its first Polish
office in Warsaw with 4 employees.
Later we opened a second office in
Wroclaw and we currently have 2
offices in Poland that employ
approximately 40 people in total. Our
solutions are mainly based on the
individual needs of our clients. After
talking to a client, we try to tailor our
services to best match the client’s exact
needs by choosing the best solutions
from the services that we offer, i.e.
auditing of financial statements, tax
consultancy, transaction advisory and
accounting services, Human Resource
(HR) and payroll services, and
financial crime and fraud prevention
services.
How positively you admire your role
in the company and focusing on its
working divisions?
I started my professional career as an
auditor with one of the reputable audit
firms, which gave me great insight into
the benefits that outsourcing can
provide. I have found this knowledge
to be incredibly useful, particularly
during my conversations with
managers from various departments, as
I am able to help them understand
exactly how the outsourcing industry
works, which has a positive effect on
the relationship with clients. In
addition, as an auditor and tax adviser,
I provide oversight by supervising the
work of our team, which guarantees
the highest quality of service for our
clients.
How do you diversify Payroll
Services and how it is beneficial to
identify customer’s perspective?
In addition to HR and payroll services,
BPG also provides other related
services that prove very useful to our
clients by giving them the opportunity
to outsource various services related to
the running of a business, such as
accounting, human resources, and
payroll services. This is a useful
solution because all confidential
information stays in one company.
What distinguishes us from our
competitors is that we are able to offer
our clients an employee and
management desktop service. This is
an innovative solution thanks to which
employees have access, from their
desktops to their HR and payroll data
as well as records of salary payments.
Employees can also use the service to
apply for holiday leave and other
leave, send requests for data
corrections and do many other useful
things. The desktop created for
management makes it easy to accept
employee requests for holiday and
other leave check absences as well as
verify all necessary personal
documents such as medical
certifications or health and safety
training certifications.
Explain the organization’s overall
journey? What experiences,
achievements or lessons learned that
have shaped its journey?
Over the course of the 16 years that we
have been in operation, we have
become members of KRESTON
International - an international
organization associating companies in
the field of accounting, auditing and
business consulting, and have entered
The 10 Best-in-Class Workforce Management Solution Providers, 2020

Alliance. Thanks to our membership in
these associations, our team can benefit
from the knowledge and skills of over
23,000 experts and thus can constantly
improve their qualifications in an
international environment. From the
very beginning, we made sure that we
had a team that was able to
communicate in both English and
German so that we had the ability to
work effectively in an international
environment.
Where does BPG see itself in the
long run and/or what are its future
goals?
We would definitely like so continue
expanding by taking on more
specialists, which is also tied to
opening new offices in Poland. What’s
more, we would like to increase our
client’s awareness about outsourcing
and show them that you do not have to
be a large company to appreciate the
benefits that outsourcing can provide to
a business. Our plan for the future is to
showcase Poland as a country
At present, the organization functions
in ten cities in Germany, two in Poland
and one in Latvia. BPG Polska was
founded in 2002.
The company specializes in, Audit of
Financial Statements which is prepared
in accordance with Polish law and
IFRS, HGB, US GAAP. It also
provides solutions such as Accounting
Standards, Tax Advisory, Transaction

Personnel Services. The organization
also deals in services in which
companies and enterprises have a
various status of the business.
BPG Group is also a member of

of the independent accounting firm.
The firm advises Polish companies
which operate outside the country, as
well as foreign companies which
operate in Poland.
conducive to investment and an ideal
place to start your business.
Considering the rising number of
Payroll solution providers, how does
BPG stand out from its competitors?
At first glance, HR and payroll services
in many companies do not seem that
different from each other. At BPG, we
focus on an individual approach to the
client and strive to provide
advantageous, innovative solutions,
such as our platform for electronic
communication between our firm and
the client, where our partners can
contact us in 3 different languages -
Polish, German and English. This
system allows for an easy and
transparent way of communicating
with us as well as unrestricted access
to employee documentation. We
believe that this is what most clearly
distinguishes us from our competitors.

ommitted in providing best
in class accounting and
financial management
solutions, Guberman Group
provides effective solutions for
various organizations. In an
interview with Insights Success,
Tami Guberman, Senior Partner –
Managing the Payroll Bureau and
Acting CFO, briefly mentions some
of the challenges the organization has
faced and strategies it has
incorporated to ensure its standing in
the market. So, let’s have a look at
what the leader has to say about the
organization.
Firstly, give us a brief overview of
Guberman Group, its solutions
and services?
Tami Guberman: Operating as the
accounting department for most of
our clients, we cover the entire gamut
of outsourced financial services, from
financial administration through
bookkeeping and payroll, to tax
processing, accounting and
outsourced CFO. At Guberman
Group, we focus on creating value to
our clients personally as well as to
their organization. We believe in
helping them to succeed in all their
tasks with no stress or overload,
while delivering high quality services
to the CEO and BOD.
Guberman Group provides premium
payroll services to organizations that
do not compromise on the
professional care of its most valuable
resource - the human resource.
How do you diversify Payroll
Services so that it will benefit your
customers?
Tami Guberman: The key for
providing the right service for every
client lies in the personnel. After a
characterization of the client’s needs,
we match the most suitable
professionals for the specific client’s
needs and character. We also allow
the client to interview the dedicated
team to examine the chemistry
between them, and if they don’t have
any, we’ll do the matching process
again.
Share the experiences,
achievements or lessons learnt that
have shaped the journey of the
organization?
Tami Guberman: When the Dotcom
bubble burst at the beginning of the
millennium, many companies
experienced cash-flow difficulties. At
that point, they realized they can
benefit from outsourcing services.
Outsourcing is a cost-efficient,
flexible solution that could save a lot
of money to the company. Instead of
hiring a payroll specialist that costs
as much as hiring a developer, you
can outsource the payroll process and
invest the money in the core business
of the company.
How Guberman Group is
contributing to make the industry
better?
Tami Guberman: As an essential part
of the Israeli tech ecosystem, we try
to make as many relevant
connections as we possibly can,
whether among service providers like
lawyers and accountants, or between

or startups to investors. We make it
our business to know everybody and
connect them to each other.
Currently, we make over 300
connections per year.
How does Guberman Group stand
out from the competition?
Tami Guberman: Quality, quality,
quality. Eventually, as competition
for every client increases, and the
differentiation is more than just
technological, what matters most is
the quality of service and customer
satisfaction which directly affects
new clientele for the company.
Guberman Group’s biggest added
value is its experienced and service-
oriented team.
In order to provide the best service,
you must have the best employees,
and if there’s something we’ve
learned from the high-tech industry,
About the Company

is that the human resource is the most
important asset of the company. Most
of our organizational resources are

Challenges in the Time of Crisis
The world has gone digital, and there's no
returning. Nearly everybody uses a mobile
phone nowadays which assists them
consistently to help decide, discover brands to
purchase from or get familiar with an item.
Today, the organizations that are ready to utilize
technology and re-evaluate their plan of action for
the future by optimizing digital transformation,
will be ones in front of their competition.
While this may look like great change, but it
presents some novel challenges for organizations.
Here we share probably the greatest challenges
faced by the ever-evolving digital world and give a
way ahead to each.
#1Challenge
The Changing Customer Experience
We live in an experiential economy. Like never
before, clients uphold how they experience brands.
That stretches out to both on the web (online) and
offline stores, just as social media or other
potential touchpoints along the way. Furthermore,
most organizations agree that client assistance will
be simply the key way that they separate from their
rivals.
Challenges Ahead
25
|
December 2020
www.insightssuccess.com
28. The way to change is to building a client experience from
the base up. Your objective ought to be to zero in on client
ventures. If you enhance the touchpoints along this
excursion rather than only attempting to win deals, at that
point you'll have a superior potential for success at keeping
clients around longer. This gives the chance to improve
deals and maintenance, which means stable development in
the years to come.
It’s likewise imperative to consider what we call the
“specialty of the client experience.” This expects you to
investigate your present nearness, and discover approaches
to survey the degree of delight in every client's
understanding.
#2Challenge
Employee Pushback
People are one of the mainstays of the business. You can't
achieve your objectives without the help of the whole
organization. The superseding worry for most organizations
considering a digital push is employee adoption and how it
will affect the organization's way of life and hierarchical
structure. Huge numbers of your "privileged few" of
employee may feel that their activity is compromised by
these changes, which won't be useful for assurance or
efficiency.
Additionally, there's a noteworthy ability gap with regards
to finishing the kind of progress that most organizations
need. The handy people are as of now busy with other basic
assignments, and can't be saved to fuel digital or train
others.
In case you need to make an organization culture that limits
representative pushback and spotlights on being agile, you
have to fabricate a client-driven culture.
Choose to work on these three essential fields:
Customer administration
Employee preparation and improvement
Culture
#3Challenge
Omnichannel Adaptation
Nowadays, clients bounce from channel to channel when
making a purchase. They'll look on your site, search from
cell phones, or even stop by your store just to purchase
online later. That implies extending your business by selling
on commercial centers, your site, and through other digital
methods. What's more, it additionally implies that you have
to build up a wide assortment of channels for help, and
afterward embrace a client commitment framework that
takes into account omnichannel selling.
#4Challenge
Poor Analytics
53% of present day organizations are disappointed with
their examination capacities. There's more information to
gather than any time in recent memory, and neglecting to
gauge the correct ones could end in a disaster.
Implement AI technologies to help improve data collection
and personalization endeavors. AI and chatbots are as of
now changing the way in which organizations crunch
information and customize discussions with clients, and it
won't be long until this training is inescapable.
It's as yet worth proceeding cautiously into AI, however you
have to begin looking in the near future. Better analytics
implies better decision making, and the estimation of that
can’t be downplayed.

Legacy Business Models
Your business depends on a product and rules that have
permitted it to survive to the present. In any case, now and
again, that legacy can weight even more than an asset.
Getting free from your legacy framework at the opportune
time is basic to building yourself up in this digital world.
What's more, most advertisers feel that legacy frameworks
are as of now hamstringing client experience endeavors.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer for this legacy issue. It
will require development, an eagerness to acknowledge the
danger, and a great deal of hard work. Try not to let the
narrative of your business end with an inability to change.
Conclusion
The digital world will consistently be changing and
developing, and it's dependent upon you to change with it.
Try not to let the challenges your business faces in today’s
digital world become offbeat detours. Rather, face them
head on and find innovative solutions which will fuel
accomplishment for a considerable length of time to come.

30. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Immedis provides
multi-country payroll and employment tax
solutions for organisations with overseas staff–
whether local or expatriate. The company delivers a high-
level overview into the global payroll process to their
clients and insights into how much they are paying out each
month to employees through their cloud based platform,
iConnect.
Immedis’ business is built around three core pillars, Client
service, Technology innovation, and Compliance. Client
service is the company’s top priority. It considers every
client to be unique and knows that reliable support is
essential to keep the payroll process on track. Immedis’
team of international tax and payroll experts provide
unparalleled support to clients globally which is their key
differentiator in the market.
Technology innovation is at the heart of the business. Its
Cloud based payroll platform, iConnect enables its tax and
payroll team to provide the best service in the market.
iConnect consolidates global payrolls, improves process
e ciency and ensures data, payroll and tax compliance in
over 130 countries worldwide.
Distinctive Services
1. Global Mobility Tax Advice: By its very nature, payroll
is tax. Employers need to withhold tax from employees to
submit to local tax authorities, ensuring that the right
amount of tax is paid to relevant regulatory bodies. If an
employee is sent on a foreign assignment as an expatriate,
then additional tax services such as shadow payrolls, tax
equalisation calculations & advice, social security
applications and other cross border relief claims, will need
to be made. Immedis provides all of this and more.
2. Global Payments: Paying employees and local
authorities around the world is a common source of
frustration for multinationals with currency fluctuations,
bank charges and multiple bank accounts to deal with.
Immedis takes this arduous task from clients and manages
the full payroll process, from data validation, payroll
processing and payments to employees and local
authorities. The company provides single international,
regional or direct payment facilities for multinational
organisations, ensuring timely payments to employees,
local authorities and other third parties in over 150
currencies worldwide.
3. Global Payroll Solutions: Technology is helping make
the payroll cycle more efficient. The same steps need to be
taken every month. Data needs to be gathered, verified,
checked and processed to ensure employees are paid
accurately each time. With much of this work being quite
repetitive, Immedis has built RPA (Robotic Process
Automation) into its software to help eliminate this manual
work so that the payroll team can focus on adding value to
the business, creating Board of Director level reports and
insights that help propel the organisation forward.
The Road to Success
The Immedis team has been providing global payroll
services for 15 years. However, the company’s first major
achievement was establishing a new standalone brand from
its parent company, The Taxback Group, a hugely
successful global financial services company with over
1,600 employees worldwide.
“The lessons we’ve learned over the past number of years
are huge. However, the most important lesson that has been

learned is the importance of building trust in relationships
with clients and our partners. We know how important it is
to listen to their needs and challenges and this helps us
create the best global payroll solution in the market.” states
Ruairi Kelleher, the CEO of Immedis.
Because of this collaborative approach, Immedis has been
able to create a new technology solution that is best in the
market. No other global payroll vendor can provide at the
level Immedis can – a single global overview of payroll
across the world, with country level drill downs showing
Gross to Net, Employer Contributions, Joiners and Leavers
and other key data facts across the business. By really
listening and understanding client challenges, Immedis has
achieved what no one else has. “This approach has meant
we are winning contracts and overtaking well established
competitors who have been around for a long time”
Kelleher comments.
“As clichéd as it may sound, the success of the business is
built on the relationships we have nurtured over the years.
We value trust, respect, and honesty. And because of our
open approach to doing business, it has allowed us to
create a solution that adds real value to our clients.”
An Influential Leader
Ruairi’s approach to leadership is based on empowering
people to deliver their best. He believes in hiring great
talent and giving them the freedom and tools to achieve the
company’s goals. This means fostering a culture of
openness and inclusivity where everyone’s opinions are
considered, and people have ownership for what they do.
“We put experts at the heart of our business and provide
value added advice. We don’t just act as a mailman between
in country partners and the client” he adds.
Recently two of Immedis’ senior management team,
Christine Keily and Mark Graham have been recognised
and named in the 50 Top Knowledge & Professional
Services category of The Reward 300 index for 2018. This
is an evident indicator of the work the company is doing
and its impact.
A Satisfied Clientele
“We chose to partner with Immedis because of their
unparalleled knowledge of international payroll and tax
legislation. We can focus on driving our core business
forward because we know we are in safe hands.” – Paul
Hughes, First Derivatives.
“Immedis were fantastic when we entered into the US,
Canada, UK and Spain. We were able to consolidate all our
payroll information across the world and present it in a way
that gave us real insight at a company level.” – Tom
O’Donnell, Lifes2Good.
“The partnership between APEX and Immedis will continue
to grow. We looked at a number of different providers, but
their technology stood out as best in class. It’s clear a lot of
R&D went into the platform development.” – Jeff Pamplin,
Apex Fund Services.
