The questionnaire was given out to 20 people 10 females and 10 males all
of the same year in college.

12 people ticked the once a month box (8 boys and 4 girls)
2 people ticked the once a week box (2 girls)
4 people ticked the more than once a month box (4 girls)
2 people ticked the never box (2 boys)
This shows that more girls buy magazines.
3. How regular do you listen to Rap?
15 people ticked the every day box (10 boys and 5 girls)
5 people ticked the 4-6 box (5 girls)
This shows that more males listen to Rap music more regular than the females questioned.

13 people ticked the artists box (9 girls and 4 boys)
7 people ticked the articles box (1 girl and 6 boys)
This shows the main interest of the readers and what attracts them to a magazine is the
artists featured inside and articles also inside.

This shows that everyone questioned would prefer to see pictures of artists on the front cover of the
magazine.

2 Pac, Drake, J Cole, Notorious B.I.G, Dr Dre, Nicki Minaj, 50 cent, The Game and more were all artists
that were named in answers for that question. This shows that most/every person questioned all had
their preferences on the favourite artists.

This shows the two main reasons why people who were questioned like Rap music is because of the
style and artists.

Questionnaire results

From the results I have received I have decided that on my front cover/ page of the magazine
there is going to be a picture of an artist or artists, because the results showed that most people
prefer to see artists on the front cover.
My Music magazine will talk about new upcoming artists because that was another preference
that the results showed me. The price of the magazine will be between £2.50 and £3.
From the results I have also decided that my music magazine will be a monthly magazine instead
of a weekly music magazine.

magazine
