However, when they look at the respective nation flags, they have something to connect to. Again, it is people perception & there is no actual physical separation on this planet.
However, our basic instinct that connects everyone on the planet is the gene to be human and help & support eachother for the betterment of the society & spreading humanity.

Communication is the core issue among the distributed teams. Different time zones and conflicting working hours impact communication and collaboration. Cultural and language differences impact communication and collaboration. An effective tool chain is needed for requirements repositories, SCM, management, build and deployment setup, defect tracking, and project management tools. The communication effectiveness is very important catalyst for a success in distributed scrum teams
In addition, the Culture model, indicates the practical scenario where we can understand the effectiveness of Agile & Scrum adoption and its success ratio. An Agile model needs to be more towards collaborative and cultivating side.
Through the Hofstede's study, i want to touch upon the 5 parameters that we can leverage to analyze culture sensitivity of any geography.
Tuckman's team model highlights the various phases of Team formation and it is no different when we deal with scaling scrum team across different timezone or different geography.
Team's trust can't be build without strong communication base. Other than these soft aspects, there is a focus on infrastructure necessities that are needed for scaling scrum teams.

The product owner and team need to also keep a view of upcoming sprints. Any body at a role of product owner / scrum master needs to have a very strong communication / broadcasting style to be able to keep all the distributed teams united.
Many times, this is combined with lots of trial and error and for that , you need a strong safety net to be able to protect you.
Regular retrospectives help us to determine the challenges and later brain storming is needed to resolve them.
