3. Biography Malú was born March 15th, 1982 in Madrid, Spain. She is Paco de Lucia's niece, a famous flamenco composer and guitarist. She started to sing when she was 15 years old. She sings pop music and flamenco. She began to record her first album between the months of January and February in 1998. In 1998 Malú won the prize for the best new artist, and was also nominated for best female artist award. Malú worked for Walt Disney records. She sang the main song of Mulan’s film, and now she’s working at SONY BMG. She has helped great artists in their songs as Alejandro Sanz. 5. Aprendiz Aprendiz (Apprentice), was her first album. It was released in 1998 and counted with the collaboration of Alejandro Sanz and Pedro Guerra. Sold four hundred thousand copies of Apprentice and kept in the official list of AFYVE sales for over twenty-eight weeks. 5 Aprendiz Apprentice

7. Esta vez In May 2001, Malú returned with EstaVez (this time). This third album account with the colaboration of Antonio Carmona among others. 14. Guerra fría It went on sale on 12th October, 2010. 16. White and Black It is a love song. About a couple that are very different, but that they want. She knows that she and her partner aren’t compatible, because everyone likes different things and thinks that if she is going to do one thing, the kid will want to do the opposite. But still wants to be with him and does everything possible to ensure that no discussions between the two.
