Ahmed Djoghlaf, Excecutive Secretary, Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, United Nations Environment Programme, Montreal, Canada An AMAZING tour. I was really pleased by the fact we finally had a local (Maori) guide to show us around. Des pulled a lot of strings to show us things no normal tourists would have seen. One of them being Gideon's Fields. Such a lovely, spiritual place with 2 beautiful people, Jan and Brian taking us on the trail to see the waterfalls. This tour was the highlight of our 14 days cruise. Judy & Chris Wong, Sydney, Australia

7. Thank you for arranging this tour ... The whole coach travel was 'cosy' and was a good way to travel together ... it was great and we definitely had fun! Don't ever exclude Skipper's Canyon Jet Boat tour. This was awesome, the bus ride there was seriously scary, which means it was brilliant, and the Jet Boat ride itself ... beautifully thrilling! 8. I rang Mum and Dad this afternoon after their time visiting your part of New Zealand and they were both so excited and thrilled about their experiences, and the way you and Mere looked after them ... It’s so lovely to know that respect for elders is an important part of Maori culture ... It’s also important for the Australian Aborigines, but I sometimes think it is lacking in our own ‘anglo’ culture. I think the ‘invaders’ of both our countries have much to learn from their traditional owners. This visit to your country is the very first time Mum and Dad have been out of our country, so it is a very big thing for them. This tour gave my parents a special memory to cherish – and you and your company made that possible. Neither of my parents had much schooling, but one thing my mother remembered from ‘social studies’ was learning a little bit about Rotorua, so when she found out that a visit there was possible on her trip to New Zealand, she was very excited. I am sure that her big smile showed everyone how happy this tour made her! Thank you again for the time and effort you have put into this day, as well as for the genuine care you and your staff show your visitors, and the love you have for your work! Nicole Bontaks, Australia (Parents were on board the "Millennium" Cruise Ship in Tauranga 22ndDecember 2008) Kia ora Des,
