Over Memorial Day Weekend we will be holding our 19th Annual TAPSSurvivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp in the DC area hosting children and teens fromacross the country. What makes our camp unique are the active duty men and womenand recent veterans who volunteer to provide one-on-one mentoring to the children ofour deceased service members. We are expecting approximately 500 children to visitthe DC area to learn coping skills and support systems. You can help by volunteeringyour time over Memorial Day Weekend to this very special cause.Mentors’ Role: Each Mentor will be matched with a child who has lost a loved onewhile serving in the military. The children range from 4 to 19 years old and each agegroup will be led by an experienced and trained grief facilitator.
