Frameworks Explained
»A framework is an agreement with one or more suppliers to provide
services, work or goods (or a combination).
»A framework is established via an OJEU procurement or using UK PCR
2015 regulations
»The framework agreement sets out the terms and conditions which will
be applicable to any order (call off) placed during the lifetime of the
agreement.
»Only organisations that have been identified are eligible to use the
framework.

Network Equipment Framework
» The scope of the framework covers the supply and support of a broad range of wired and
wifi network equipment including:
» Devices with firewall capabilities
» Low-end customer premises equipment (CPE)
» Mid-range enterprise and high-end, carrier-class type equipment supporting 100 Gigabit
Ethernet and above.
» It also covers converged network adapters, interface modules, transceivers, access points,
voice over internet protocol (VoIP) products and associated ancillary goods and services
including software, cabling and installation.
