PRIVATE BOAT HOUSE FACILITY
Located in Coronado, San Diego, the Glorietta Bay Boat House is a proposal to the city
to connect people tothe bay through recreational use. The boat house serves as a pri-
vate storage space for club members but also incorporates a meeting space for public
use and adds a destination point to a degraded section of Coronado.

9. STARLIGHT THEATER IN BALBOA
LONGSPAN FACILITY
The Starlight theater transforms an existing outdoor amphithe-
ater into a beautifully crafted dome structure in which sound be-
comes the focal point. Designed around the idea that ellipses’
can concentrate sound making for a powerful user experience.
