In world war one maney people died.
It statted in July 28, 1914 and ennded in
                 November 11, 1918.
In that time the people how died bodeys cohdent

The was lots of dethid in world war 1 and 9.7
million of them wear military deaths and the
estemated number of civilians ded is 9 million.
The memorial

There are meney diffident tipes of memorial the
most common one is a stone statcue with the
names of the people who died in the aria.

In larger towns or city’s there might me multiple
            memorial or one big one.
What the memorial I visted was like
● The memorial I visited was made out of stone but it was quite old
sume of the text had faded on one side. It had a gritty tipe of stone
it had yellow and white fungus growing around it.

● The closed memorial to me was achely just down the lane from my
drive but it had no text on it but the surprising thing is that it was
made out of wood not stone it had mold growing on it and it
looked very old probably because it was made out of wood.
The memorial I visited
The memorial I visted was st mary's church in overton
What it was like in world war 1
● In the world war 1 most of the British army was made up of
       volunteers.
● Thay were given resnobley good food but it vered to place to
      place.
● One of the worst thing aprt from all the bomes and shells being
droped on you is that the higeen whas horabe espeshaley in
the trenches there were rats flees lice and the dezeze.
● One of the worst dezeze it the trench whas a fungle infechion
call trench foot it was cased by feet being constanley in water
and not getting eany air. the simtioms are you feet ternig red
