This database was developed to allow AOTA members to create your personal volunteer “profile,” thus creating a pool of volunteers for the opportunities that arise within AOTA. The system also allows you to identify specific volunteer opportunities that match your area(s) of expertise, years of experience, amount of time available for volunteering, and other criteria. COOL then allows AOTA staff and committee chairpersons to find volunteers based on the criteria of an existing opportunity. The goal is to make it easier for AOTA members to volunteer at many levels, thereby creating a more robust organization and facilitating professional growth. - See more at: http://www.aota.org/aboutaota/get-involved/leadership/cool.aspx#sthash.J9KKN1Xi.dpuf
