Post Demantra Installation Steps Set JAVA HOME and start tomcat Create and Deploy demantra.war file to OracleAS 10.1.3 Middle Tier On Demantra server at command prompt change directory to c:rogram Filesracle Demantra Spectrumollaboratoremantrabr />run create_war.bat file to generate demantra.war file Open Oracle Application Server Control at http://lamborghini.sanjose.usjadecorp.com:7778/em. Navigate to the default server Navigate to Applications. Click Deploy. The Select Archive page appears Select Archive is presented on local host. Click Browse and navigate to the demantra.war file. Click Next. The archive is uploaded from the local host to the server host. The Uploading page displays. The Application Attributes page appears. Enter the application name and click next. The Deployment Settings page appears Complete the deployment. Click Deploy. The Progress Manager page appears
7. Post Demantra Installation Steps Wait until the application deployment completes and you see the message: The Application "demantra" has been successfully deployed. Click Return to return to the management console.
8. Integration with E-Business Suite ( High level Steps) Download Oracle EBS-Demantra Integration Patch(8602258) apply Patch 8602258 APS 12.1 CU3 PATCH on EBS Check log files for any errors. After applying patch Login as System Administrator Responsibility Navigate to Security Users and Query for user sysadmin Add responsibility Demand Management System Administrator and save Navigate to Profile -> System Query profile MSD_DEM: Host URL. Change value to http:// lamborghini.sanjose.usjadecorp.com:7778/demantra and save.
9. Verification of Demantra integration with EBS Login to Demand Management System Administrator Login apps R12 as user with Demand Management System Administrator responsibility Click responsibility: Demand Management System Administrator Click Demand Management Workbench. This will automatically redirect to demantra login page Demantra Username: dm/dm Click on Planning Manager to open up the Business Modeler, Chaining, or Member Management links from the Demantra Collaborator Workbench For first login, demantra will download and install required software automatically.
10. Problems Encountered / Resolution 1) Cannot access Collaborator Workbench after I deploy Demantra 7.3 on Oracle Application Server ( OAS ) without errors. It shows the following error message: "The requested resource is not available" Solution: Demantra 7.3 requires that defining a native data source for the DB connection. Data Source has not been configured. This datasource should be created in the OAS console once the Demantra web application is installed, the Admin should create a new Native Data Source using: Name=DemantraDS JNDI Location= jdbc/DemantraDS Data Source Class=oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource And with the correct JDBC Url pointing to the designated database
11. Problems Encountered / Resolution 2)While accessing from Oracle Applications, Demand Management System Administrator --> Demand Management Workbench error out with oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException Solution: 1. Go into the responsibility: System Administrator 2. Check value of the profile 'MSD_DEM: Version' on the Destination instance 3. Run the request 'Update Synonyms' if not already done 4. The profile should be set to version of Demantra that you are running (ex. 7.2, 7.3, etc..)
12. Problems Encountered / Resolution 3) Opening up the Business Modeler, Chaining, or Member Management links from the Demantra Collaborator Workbench ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified Solution: On AS10g server go to /ora_stuff/oas10g/product/10.1.3/j2ee/home/applications/demantra/b2b/tools/desktopInstaller Backup file win_installer.properties. Edit parameter DBA_SERVER=VIS with DBA_SERVER=renault.usjadecorp.com in file win_installer.properties and save changes. Bounce Application server.
