8. 8 Project: National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.)- Y2001 http://cnst.nist.gov / General Scope: 47,480 square meters, or 511,070 square feet total. Cost: $235.2 million. 2 single-floor metrology laboratory sections completely below grade with 151 lab modules and 2 single-floor instrument laboratory sections above ground with 187 lab modules. Labs have a baseline temperature control to within ±0.25 degree Celsius and temperature control to within ±0.1 or ±0.01 degree Celsius for 48 precision temperature control laboratories in metrology sections. Included several types of vibration isolation foundations in metrology laboratory sections, for velocity amplitude of 3 micrometers per second or less. In special metrology laboratories, hold humidity control is to within 1 percent and 5 percent in the rest of the facility. Building-wide conditioned power supply system that will meet IEEE Std. 1100-1992 for critical electronic loads. Ceiling heights in laboratory modules adaptable to 7 meters (22 feet). Natural day lighting, energy conservation, and recycling incorporated into the AML’s design and planned operation. The AML facility includes an above ground Class 100 clean room wing, 80,000 square feet (3.5 or fewer particles per liter), upgradeable to Class 10. Project: WINBOND (Fab 6)- Y2000 http://www.winbond.com/hq/enu/AboutWinbond/WinbondWorldwide/Locations/ General Scope: Greenfield design of semiconductor manufacturing facility. Main fabrication building included 180,000 S.F. ballroom, Class 1000, mini-environment cleanroom, utilizing over-sized and multi-level automation systems. The facility was designed for DRAM products on 300-mm wafers, utilizing copper application technologies. Phase 1 total building space was 2.3M S.F. Project: SAP Labs- Y1999 http://www.devconconstruction.com/sap.html General Scope: 140,000 S.F. ($21M), Greenfield corporate office building, with below grade parking garage adjacent to an environmentally protected site (Coyote Hill open space). The Design and Construction was committed not only to the mitigation of physical impacts from development against the Coyote Hill open space, but to do so by the creation of an exemplary project, which delivered sustainable ideologies inherent in the project's design, construction and lifecycle. Project: GUIDANT, Santa Clara, CA.- Y1998 http://www.ir2.com/index.php/flash/ General Scope: 400,000 S.F. ($23M) Master Space Plan, Tenant Improvements to Santa Clara campus. Projects include major infrastructure upgrades to HVAC (cooling tower addition), UPS and Telecom. A 10,000 S.F. fully automated one-touch assembly/training rooms with video/satellite links, integrated with the Temecula facility. Designs included major cafeteria expansions. Also, major signature lobby remodel. PROJECT LIST
