E-Democracy It’s up to us!
The problem There are some participatory e-democracy projects around Estonia that are lacking participation and engagement. In Viljandi (2018), it was 4.6% and in Tartu (2017), 4.7% of the local residents.
The solution A mobile app that is easy to use for every age group, encouraging engagement and participation in different e-democracy possibilities.
Main competitors volis.ee - Estonian web platform for local municipalities’ participative/inclusive budget. Local residents can propose projects that would be funded. Afterwards, local residents (16+) can vote for projects.

E democracy in Estonia

  • 2. The problem There are some participatory e-democracy projects around Estonia that are lacking participation and engagement. In Viljandi (2018), it was 4.6% and in Tartu (2017), 4.7% of the local residents.
  • 3. The solution A mobile app that is easy to use for every age group, encouraging engagement and participation in different e-democracy possibilities.
  • 4. Main competitors volis.ee - Estonian web platform for local municipalities’ participative/inclusive budget. Local residents can propose projects that would be funded. Afterwards, local residents (16+) can vote for projects.
