Dear Japhet,
Thank you for your participation in the 2016 Hurricane Tejas Table Top Exercise which was
held on June 6-9, 2016. Your participation in the Dallas County Emergency Operations Center
(EOC) was extremely beneficial in managing this coastal evacuation exercise. Over 500
participants from throughout the state had a role in making this exercise successful.
As an exercise participant you assisted by providing leadership to the various exercise scenarios
to better ensure the exercise objectives were met and that we had full participation from the
various group members participating in the exercise.
Judging from the comments received during the exercise after action meeting, the exercise was a
great success. The success of this exercise was due in large part to your participation, leadership
and technical expertise. This exercise provided a great opportunity to better prepare Dallas
County personnel and partnering agencies for the upcoming winter hurricane season.
Again, thanks for a job well done. Please contact me if we can be of assistance to you or your
agency.
Sincerely,
C. Douglas Bass, CEM, TEM
