Interests and Honors
My primaryinteresthasalwaysbeenandwill be aviation. IfirstwentflyingwhenIwasfouryearsold
and flewmanytimesbetweenthenandmyfirstflightlessonwhenIwas 14. I am in myfourth year as a
studentinthe OhioUniversityDepartmentof Aviation. Iholda Private Pilot’slicense withinstrument

2. ratingand I’m currentlymakingprogresstowardsacommercial rating. Iwas frequentlyanhonorroll
studentinhigh school and have a 3.3 GPA at OhioUniversity.
Career Plans
I planto continue enrollmentatOhioUniversityuntil Iacquire higherlicensingthroughthe Department
of Aviation. Iintendto become a certifiedflightinstructor,certifiedinstrumentflightinstructorand
receive amulti-engine license. Once Iam eligible Iwouldlike tobecome afull-time flightinstructor
while continuingmyeducationtoachieve abachelor’sdegree inaviation. Ultimately,I’dlike togaina
master’sdegree insomethingtothe tune of aviationflightinstruction. Afterwards,I’dlike tocontinue
beinga hands-onflightinstructorandteachclassroomcoursesas well.
