2. Don‘t eat a lot of candy or you will get
diabetes
■ It‘s true that they are sweet, but they can‘t cause diabetes.
■ In type one you are born with it
■ In type two you can get it from unhealthy food and possibly from candy but it is not
the main reason

3. Bubblegum digests 7 years
■ Adults made this myth so kids wouldn‘t swallow gum.They said if we ate them a lot
we would have to have surgery to clean our stomach
■ Gum digests only one week in your stomach with stomach acid.

4. Popaj and spinach
■ Popaj and spinach is a story about a man who ate spinach and became very very strong
■ Spinach has connection with muscles, beacuse it has a lot of positive effects on them,
beacuse of nitrates and iron.
■ Nitrates tone muscles and improve cellular function.
■ A study has shown that diets high in nitrate-rich vegetables may improve your muscle
strength independently of any physical activity.

5. Buckwheat and Slovenes
■ This story is based on how buckwhet came to Slovenia
■ There was a goddess who gave buckwheat seed to strangers who came here, she said
that where this seed grows into harvest that is the great place for living.
■ When people came to Slovenia, they planted buckwheat and it grew, so they stayed
here.
