S1 – Personnel Officer
Directly supervised 10 human resources professionals ensuring their readiness, training,
and quality of work. Implemented new tracking mechanisms and processes for awards,
evaluations and medical reports to make workflow more efficient.
Subjectmatter expertfor all personnel transactions and policies. Advisor to the
Battalion Commander for a battalion of 600 Soldiers for assignments and evaluations.
Managed the officer evaluation system for 36 officers and more than 200 Non-
Commissioned Officers.
Prepared and implemented personnel policy for readiness and training for the battalion.
Served as Adjutant, (Master of Ceremonies), prepared and issued over 300 awards,
planning and organizing two regimental banquets, and facilitating six Change-of-
Command ceremonies.
Served as SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Program) Victim Advocate
and Instructor for the Battalion, promoting an atmosphere of dignity and respect while
