I know many people wonder: Is this for me?\nI travel around the world, across three continents and dozens and cities working with people on the path of leadership development.\n\nIf improvement doesn’t mean something is wrong…\n…than this is for you.\n
In my book, Your Best Just Got Better, I share the practical strategies you can use to do more of what will make you successful…in work and at life.\n

When it comes to “working smarter,” there are four things you need to know:\nPractice does not make perfect.\nYou manage your TIME, by managing action\nIt’s important to believe you can\nTo get better, you must know what you do\n

When I was young, my mom told me that “Practice Makes…Perfect.”\nWhat I now know, is that practice makes COMFORTABLE\n
One of the “Productivity Influencers” we all work under is: Homeostasis. \nWe “tend” to do what we’ve always done!\n
Your comfort in how you work and what you do over time is developed over time.\nWe’re going to get you started in studying the habits and routines you already have in place.\nFor the next five days, please keep a running record of everything you spend time doing by 10am.\nWho do you talk to? Interrupt. Meet with. Hear from. Think about?\nWhat do you read? See. Think of. Do.\nWhere do you go? Come from. Manage.\nOnce you have this inventory, and it may be upwards of 30-50 things!, then you can revisit and begin to change.\n

Many people are still talking about managing time.\nYou can’t. You can only manage what you do in time.\n
I used to tell people that there are 1,440 minutes in a day. \nBut, thinking about blocks of time is easier.\nThere are 96 fifteen-minute blocks. If you sleep just 7 hours a night, you’re left with 68!\nNow, you need to start making decisions.\n
