3. Nuclear energy

4. Produced by nuclear fission.When radioactive
minerals break down , large amounts of heat are
produced . This heat is used to generate steam which
moves turbines and generates electricity.

5. Hydroelectric or Hydropower

6. Uses the force of the water to produce electricity .
When water flows through the turbines, they
produce electricity.
Its the most used renewable energy in the world

7. Wind Energy

8. The force of the wind moves big wind turbine
connected to an electric generator, this movement
produces electricity. Are usually located in places
where wind currents are common.

9. Solar Energy

10. Are two types :
-Thermal: Uses the collector to take Sun's heat and
to heat the water
-Photovoltaic:Uses solar panels to produce energy
from sunlight

11. Geothermal energy
Uses the heat from th inside of the Earth to produce
electricity

12. Biomass energy
Organic waste is burned and it forms a gas used to
move turbines which generate electricity

13. Ocean energy
This kind of power plant uses the force of waves and
tides from seas and oceans. Also obtains energy from
the ocean's thermal gradient

14. Environmental impact:

15. Nuclear energy: Greenhouse gas emissions of nuclear
fission power of routine health risk small relative to
those associated with the coal, but "mortal danger"
but is not limited to: excessive heating of the fuel
has great potential emissions of the environment, the
spread of nuclear weapons proliferation.
Hydropower energy: The environmental consequences
of hydropower are related to encroachments upon
nature due to damming or lowering of the water
level, changed water flow and building of roads and
power lines

16. Wind energy: It doesn't cause lots of problems the
unic thing is that some flying animals hit with the
arms of the wind mill.
Solar energy: When people produce solar panels they
have leftover stuff that can pollute and when
creating solar panels the manufacturers have to use
energy, which pollutes the air, creates heavy metal
emissions, and greenhouse gases.

17. Geothermal energy: There may be an escape of
various greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and
methane from the drilling, but these will be
temporary.
Biomass energy :Using biomass as a fuel produces air
pollution in the form of carbon monoxide, NOx
(nitrogen oxides), VOCs (volatile organic
compounds), particulates and other pollutants.
