About the Foundation,[object Object],People Against Cancer is a grassroots, non-profit, member-supported, public benefit organization with 25 years of research. They are a powerful group of people with cancer, their loved ones, and citizens working together to protect and enhance medical freedom of choice. I chose this foundation because a family member of mine was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and helping her out and anyone else that needs it will definitely appreciate it,[object Object]

Mission & Values,[object Object],This year over 1,500,000 Americans will be diagnosed with cancer and 750,000 will die. Cancer is now epidemic, yet little progress is being made by the medical establishment in preventing, diagnosing or treating most forms of the disease. “Our mission is to find our members the best cancer treatment.”,[object Object]

Program Offers,[object Object],The Prevention Program,[object Object],Alternative Therapy Program,[object Object],The goal of this program is to provide treatment options for people with cancer to find the right cancer treatment. Our aim is to answer the complex questions about treatment alternatives. What therapy might be best? What approach might offer the best chances for survival and quality of life? We have assembled a worldwide database of information on innovative physicians and treatment. We feel it is important to understand all options from conventional to alternatives in order for people to make truly informed decisions about treatment. We believe people with cancer have two very fundamental rights the right to know and the right to choose.,[object Object],To monitor the world literature to bring our members the latest information about cancer prevention and detection. We join with other activist groups toward a healthy environment by exposing and eliminating carcinogens in the food, water, air, and workplace. We work to promote healthy changes in lifestyle and provide the latest unbiased information on the role of diet and nutrition in cancer prevention.,[object Object]

I n p u t,[object Object],We have licensed Doctor’s and Nurses willing to help anyone with treatment or cancer patients that may want to ask questions,[object Object],We also have friends and family of people who have been affected by any form of cancer that are willing to make good decisions, by helping and fundraising money to help run our organization,[object Object]

O u t p u t,[object Object],Focus on giving people the best cancer treatment there is possible no matter where they stand financially,[object Object],Help families feel more relieved knowing that their loved one with cancer is going to be okay,[object Object],Host more events helping fundraise money for the treatment of cancer,[object Object],Weexplicatewhich salient treatments are necessary for patients if they are confused on which treatment they need.,[object Object]

Process,[object Object],Hold Fundraisers to pay for forms and treatments,[object Object],Then send out forms to patients to fill out The Medical History Questionnaire & Medical Records Release Form,[object Object],Then the records are reviewed by the International Physicians Network,[object Object],Patients then receive their Personal Medication Report,[object Object]

Outcome,[object Object],Help patients and family stay happy and healthy,[object Object],A source for people to engage in discourse to talk and ask questions about cancer,[object Object],Give and gain more knowledge about cancer and its treatments,[object Object],Spread awareness,[object Object]

MAIN GOAL,[object Object],Our main goal is to help find a cure for cancer and give best treatment for anybody and everybody around the world that needs it. The more lives we help the happier we all are.,[object Object]

Community Need,[object Object],Spread awareness to families that are dealing with cancer that feel like they are helpless, and let them know that we are here for them,[object Object],Let people know that October isn’t the only month to help participate in fundraisers or donate money to any organization involved with helping cancer patients,[object Object],Help give quality information and treatments to people dealing with cancer that have been giving false or fallacious information,[object Object]

How Does This Link to Critical Thinking?,[object Object],The People Against Cancer Foundation have to discover new ways of giving the best treatment so that everyone is satisfied,[object Object],They also have to ask the right questions in order to get the right answers from what ever research they have been researching,[object Object]

How Does This Link to Critical Action?,[object Object],The People Against Cancer have to acquire rich and extensive content in order to be able to explain to patients why they need this treatment and how it helps,[object Object],They also have to hold their own fundraisers and find out ways to distribute the money they have collected and use it to give treatment on patients through communication or discourse,[object Object]

The Just Think Foundation would appeal to People Against Cancer because their mission is to teach people how to lead healthy, responsible lives.,[object Object],JustThinkFoundation,[object Object],They also support people to discover and research new things which is what the People Against Cancer do. They research all the time looking for more treatments and possible cures for Cancer because they want to find and do anything they possibly can to help,[object Object]
