“Love. Drugs. And Murder, Baby” is written along the lines of films like “Seven Psychopaths” and “Pineapple Express.” Set in a violent world filled with drug dealers, cocaine packer Andrea decides to eliminate the competition for her boyfriend D’Marcus by killing high-ranking drug lord Don Ushi. The cold-blooded murder forces her low-ranking drug dealing boyfriend to flee to Mexico due to his fear of retaliation from the Drug Intelligence Agency – which is a secret government-funded organization that protects the country’s drug dealers. Andrea is then forced to take over D’Marcus’ entire drug operation, with the hopes of earning enough money to meet up and escape the country with D’Marcus. Should the Drug Intelligence Agency find out that Andrea is the person responsible for the murder of Don, then the organization will pull out all the stops to make sure she’s buried six feet deep.

2. FADE IN:
INT. BAR - NIGHT
In a modern, but middle class bar, ANDREA RAVEN, 28, a
conceited drug packer in a skimpy outfit and DON USHI, 30, a
drug dealer, laugh away in the nearly desolate bar room.
DON USHI
So you tried pineapple express?
Andrea waves it off.
ANDREA RAVEN
Overrated. Every time I try that
shit, I end up on the bathroom
floor cuddling the toilet for
safety.
Don chuckles.
DON
We just got the new stuff.
ANDREA
The Coco glaze?
He nods his head yes.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
I heard about that shit. It’s
apparently edible.
DON
I put it in my coffee every fucking
morning. Hypes me up, but keeps me
sane.
She sighs.
ANDREA
D’Marcus doesn’t want it. Believes
it’s a gimmick. Whatever that
means.
TODD, 50, a skinny Caucasian owner with dozens of knife
wounds, including several fresh cuts on is face, walks over
and pours liquor into both of their cups and leaves.
DON
I guess your man doesn’t believe in
making money.

3. ANDREA
Apparently he doesn’t. We barely
get by every week.
She scoffs.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
I was promised big money and the
Galapagos Islands. Yet, all I’m
gettin’ is late rent notices and
banquet dinners.
DON
I know how that feels. I came here
with nothing. Worked for a dealer
who was screwing me and the workers
out of money.
ANDREA
What did you do?
DON
What needed to be done. Became my
own boss. Gathered a crew and now I
own a small part of the Galapagos
Islands.
Andrea smiles.
DON (CONT’D)
How about we get out of here? We
can discuss...Terms.
Andrea pops up from her seat.
ANDREA
I know a perfect place to discuss
terms.
She seductively exits the diner.
Don licks his lips and smiles. His cell phone rings and he
checks the call. It’s his girlfriend, SATO ANG, 30, a sweet
looking Asian female with numerous old scars on her face.
He ignores the call and puts his phone on silent. He motions
for Todd to come over. Once Todd comes over, Don takes out a
big stack of hundred dollar bills and puts it in Todd’s
pocket.
DON
Who was here with me?

4. TODD
Nobody.
Don smiles.
DON
Enjoy your night.
Don then exits the bar.
INT. MOTEL - BEDROOM - NIGHT
In an expensive, but outdated bedroom, Don and Andrea burst
into the room wildly making out.
Andrea pushes him on the tidy bed and jumps on top of Don
kissing him madly. Don gets on top and then unbuckles his
pants.
Just as he’s about to remove his pants, she stops him and
turns him over. On the top position, Andrea rides him a bit
and he reacts favorably.
ANDREA RAVEN
You love that?
DON USHI
Oh fuck yeah.
He says as he’s being pleasured.
ANDREA
Good.
Andrea swiftly takes out a pocket knife and slices his throat
open. Blood spews onto her face and clothes. She moves back
disgusted.
Andrea stands there silent as Don bleeds out to death. She
grabs her phone and makes a call.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
(on phone)
You can come in.
She ends the call. She sits down on the floor calm and
unfazed by the dead body and blood splattered on her.
Her sister CASSANDRA RAVEN, 25, enters the room and her eyes
widen horrified over the gruesome crime. She turns her
attention to Andrea.

5. CASSANDRA RAVEN
Why is he dead?
ANDREA
Because it makes more sense --
CASSANDRA
-- But that wasn’t the plan!
ANDREA
I agree. This is better than the
original plan.
SOFIA CORTEZ, 25, a sweet, but often clueless Hispanic female
comes in and screams over the discovery of the dead body. She
immediately covers her eyes and tries to exit the room, but
she accidentally hits the drawer knocking over a lamp. She
then bumps into a wall.
SOFIA CORTEZ
Why does the door keep moving!
Cassandra goes over to console her.
CASSANDRA
Sweetie, relax.
SOFIA
I can’t see another dead body
again, not after Denver.
She frantically expresses.
CASSANDRA
What happened in Denver?
Sofia instantly goes silent and oddly stares at Cassandra.
SOFIA
Denver? What are you talking about?
I know nothing about Denver --
CASSANDRA
-- But you just said something
happened in Denver --
SOFIA
-- You’re a Denver!
She responds explosively. Cassandra sighs.
CASSANDRA
Door is right there.

6. Sofia smiles and then exits quickly.
D’MARCUS MURPHY, 30, a lanky African American drug dealer
walks in and stops when he sees Don dead in his own blood.
Cassandra crosses her arms nervous.
Andrea whistles as if nothing has happened.
D’MARCUS MURPHY
No, no, no...
D’Marcus whimpers as he walks closer to the body. He hugs Don
crying.
CASSANDRA
(mumbles)
This is not going to be pretty.
D’Marcus calms himself down a bit.
D’MARCUS
It’s ok buddy, I will stitch you
up, and you’ll be good as new --
CASSANDRA
(coy)
-- D’Marcus?
He looks at her.
CASSANDRA (CONT’D)
That’s not how it works.
Reality finally sets in for D’Marcus and then he turns his
attention to Andrea, who’s purposely avoiding eye contact.
D’MARCUS
(shouts angrily)
What happened?
Andrea sniffles.
Cassandra looks skeptical.
Andrea gets up very teary-eyed and emotional.
ANDREA
I don’t know. He said he hated this
world and he wanted to die...
She sells the tragic moment choked up.

7. ANDREA (CONT’D)
...He just decided to slice his
throat in front of me.
She says in a believable and tearful response.
Cassandra rolls her eyes knowing that what she said was
bullshit.
D’Marcus moves away from the dead body and goes to Andrea.
He’s now covered in Don’s blood.
D’MARCUS
You killed him, didn’t you?
ANDREA
What! No, no, no.
He crosses his arms and stares at her sternly.
Andrea changes her demeanor when she realizes that D’Marcus
isn’t buying her story.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
Let me tell you something, it is
2020 and as a woman I have rights --
D’MARCUS
-- Oh dear god.
ANDREA
I am allowed to cook, drive, vote,
and slice a man’s throat if I
please.
Cassandra sighs disappointed.
D’MARCUS
You killed a gold member!
Andrea looks confused.
ANDREA
A gold member? What are you talking
about?
D’Marcus paces back and forth with great concern.
D’MARCUS
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

8. ANDREA
I don’t understand why you’re mad.
With him off the streets, we can
take his customers --
D’MARCUS
-- You don’t get it! He’s a gold
member --
ANDREA
-- You keep saying that like I know
something.
THEO DESHAWN, the bodyguard for D’Marcus, 35 ,a gruff,
muscular, African American male enters the room.
Cassandra’s eyes widen because she knows trouble just walked
in. She jets out of the bedroom.
Theo examines the situation and immediately looks towards
Andrea.
THEO DESHAWN
You did this, didn’t you?
He says intensely as he goes over to her.
D’MARCUS
It was me.
Theo gazes at D’Marcus. He then turns his attention back to
Andrea.
THEO
D’Marcus, bathroom, now.
He says as he sternly focuses on Andrea. Theo and D’Marcus
exit the bedroom.
INT. MOTEL - BATHROOM - NIGHT
Theo and D’Marcus enter the nice bathroom. Theo turns on the
shower and then stares at D’Marcus seriously.
THEO
Before you speak, I just want you
to know, I am authorized to kill
you.
D’Marcus gulps nervously.
THEO (CONT’D)
Who killed Don?

9. D’Marcus looks around the bathroom anxious. He then sighs and
glares back at Theo.
D’MARCUS
It was me.
He swiftly ducks and covers his head in a cowardly manner
expecting for Theo to attack him.
THEO
Get up.
D’Marcus stands up, but still protects his head.
THEO (CONT’D)
You willing to die for her?
D’MARCUS
No. Fuck bitches, right?
He awkwardly laughs as Theo remains intense. He stops
laughing once he realizes that Theo isn’t joking around.
D’MARCUS (CONT’D)
It was me. She had nothing to do
with this.
THEO
You know I can just kill all of
you, right?
D’MARCUS
Kill me. This is all my fault.
Theo sighs unsure. He ponders for a moment.
THEO
I know a way out of this. You have
to be gone. Permanently.
D’MARCUS
And them?
THEO
The girls will be safe. They only
know about you.
D’Marcus looks a bit relieved, but still worrisome.
THEO (CONT’D)
I know a man down in Mexico. He can
take care of the body and you.

10. D’MARCUS
Fuck, Mexico! That’s 50 hours away!
THEO
Actually, 34 --
D’MARCUS
-- Fuck!
THEO
It’s either Mexico or the
Washington Memorial. Your choice.
D’MARCUS
You promise not to hurt her?
THEO
I promise I won’t. When have I ever
lied to you?
D’MARCUS
Every fucking day!
Theo gestures in agreement.
THEO
Yeah, I do. But I’m not gonna hurt
her. I promise. And I don’t make
promises for nothing.
D’MARCUS
Mexico.
THEO
Yep. Tell Andrea you’re going on a
business trip.
D’MARCUS
She’s gonna notice somethin’ isn’t
right when I don’t come back --
THEO
-- And I’ll think of something.
D’Marcus motions sadden over the situation. He then nods his
head in agreement.
INT. MOTEL - HALLWAY - NIGHT
Being nosey, Andrea is next to the bathroom door listening,
but when the door bursts open, she whistles pretending to
mind her own business.

11. Theo comes out.
THEO
You weren’t listening at the door,
were you?
She scoffs at his words.
ANDREA
Of course not.
Theo nods even though he doesn’t buy a word she says.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
But, just out of curiosity, what
were you talking about?
Theo stares at her for a second and then smirks.
THEO
You were listening, weren’t you?
ANDREA
Fine, yes, but, I couldn’t hear
anything. Now, what were you two
talking about?
THEO
We weren’t talking. We were taking
a shower --
ANDREA
-- Together?
THEO
Of course. You got a problem with
two grown men showering together?
ANDREA
Of course not. It’s my favorite
thing to watch on pornhub.
THEO
Cool.
He smiles.
She smiles back at him.
He re-enters the bedroom. Once he does, she stops smiling and
walks fast towards the motel front door.
ANDREA
Cassandra, outside.

12. She says as she exits the motel.
INT. MOTEL - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Seated on the couch in the spacious and fancy room, Cassandra
looks at Sofia and exhales unhappy.
SOFIA
Have fun.
Cassandra flashes a quick smile as she gets up and exits the
motel.
INT. MOTEL - OUTSIDE HALLWAY - NIGHT
Andrea is standing in the vacant, but decorative hallway next
to the door on edge. Cassandra comes out clearly not wanting
to have this talk with her.
CASSANDRA
Yes?
ANDREA
We have a problem.
CASSANDRA
Glad you finally noticed.
ANDREA
It didn’t take me long at all.
Black men don’t shower together
unless there’s a good reason.
Cassandra shakes her head in disbelief.
CASSANDRA
I won’t question how you know this.
ANDREA
Something is going on between Theo
and D’Marcus.
CASSANDRA
Maybe they’re trying to figure out
how to fix your mess --
ANDREA
-- Then what does it mean that Don
is a gold member?
The question actually stumps Cassandra for a bit.

13. CASSANDRA
Yeah, I didn’t understand that part
either --
ANDREA
-- Exactly! D’Marcus is no stranger
to killing, yet all of the sudden,
it’s wrong --
CASSANDRA
-- It’s always been wrong --
ANDREA
-- Eh.
She waves off the notion that killing is wrong.
ANDREA (CONT’D)
We need to find out what’s going on
--
CASSANDRA
-- Or we need to mind our own
business.
ANDREA
But Cassandra --
CASSANDRA
-- Andrea leave it alone. You’ve
already caused enough trouble.
Andrea scoffs unhappy. She then fake smiles at Cassandra.
ANDREA
Fine.
CASSANDRA
Thank you.
INT. MOTEL - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Cassandra and Andrea enter the motel as Theo comes into the
living room.
CASSANDRA
What do you need us to do?
THEO
Leave. We’ll take care of this.
D’Marcus comes out and hugs Andrea lovingly. He then kisses
her passionately.

14. SOFIA
Eww, get a room.
D’Marcus stops and blushes a bit.
D’MARCUS
Sorry, just...
He struggles to keep his emotions in check.
CASSANDRA
Everything ok?
D’MARCUS
Of course. I just get very
emotional when I’m dealing with a
dead body.
ANDREA
Trust me, he does.
D’Marcus smiles.
D’MARCUS
I love you. Don’t ever forget that.
He tenderly kisses her and then goes back into the bedroom.
THEO
Try not to kill anyone else tonight
--
ANDREA
-- And you try not to shower with
another man tonight --
THEO
-- Maybe I will --
ANDREA
(sass)
-- Then maybe I will.
THEO
Fine!
ANDREA
Fine!
Cassandra pulls Theo down to the end of the hallway.
CASSANDRA
Theo relax --

15. THEO
-- Your sister fucked up --
CASSANDRA
-- I know. I know. But please, I’ll
handle her and you do your thing.
I’m sorry about everything --
THEO
-- You not the one that needs to
apologize --
CASSANDRA
-- But I’m the only one that will.
Please Theo.
He takes a deep breath.
THEO
Why can’t your sister be like you?
CASSANDRA
The day that happens hell will rise
and heaven will fall.
He chuckles.
THEO
Just keep her out of trouble, will
you?
She nods yes.
Theo smiles and then goes into the bedroom. Cassandra goes
back over to Andrea and Sophia.
ANDREA
I’ll show him. No one tells me not
to kill anyone tonight.
She exits the motel hyped up.
Cassandra’s eyes widen when she realizes what Andrea just
said.
CASSANDRA
This bitch better not be serious.
Let’s go Sofia.
SOFIA
To where?

16. CASSANDRA
(sarcastic)
To Denver.
Sofia screams, which startles Cassandra. Sofia then grabs
onto Cassandra tightly.
SOFIA
You listen to me. They will get
you. Then they will turn you left,
then right, then left, then
right...
She jerks Cassandra left and right as she seriously says that
statement.
SOFIA (CONT’D)
...Then BOOM!
Cassandra jumps when Sofia says boom in an exuberant manner.
SOFIA (CONT’D)
You die...
Sofia starts to sniffle and gets teary-eyed.
Cassandra doesn’t know how to react, looking freaked out over
Sofia’s randomness.
SOFIA (CONT’D)
(low)
...I’m so sorry Tommy.
A tear flows down her cheek.
CASSANDRA
Sofia, who’s Tommy?
Sofia turns stone faced once Cassandra asks the question.
SOFIA
I love you too.
Sofia awkwardly rushes out of the motel room.
Cassandra processes what just happened in disappointment.
CASSANDRA
Crazy motherfuckers.
Cassandra grumbles as she exits the motel.
