PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Doral Beach OBGYN, Doral, Florida 09/2002 – 01/2014 Medical Assistant  Dynamically supported three doctors in a fast-paced environment assisting about 70 patients per day.  Actively handled emergency calls for the doctors and reviewed charts making sure they were accurate and complete.  Served as a liaison to the doctors by sustaining constant interaction with maternity and gynecology patients, promptly answering questions and resolving concerns.  Controlled medical supply inventory, including specialty drugs and injections up to $150,000 in value.  Maintained communication with pharmaceutical representatives to always have supply on-hand.  Effectively worked closely with insurance companies getting authorizations for specialty prescriptions and in-office procedures.  In charge of providing test results to patients and coordinated with doctors’ proper treatments: mammograms, sonograms, pathology and laboratory.
