Designate A Manager for the Ambassadors to Communicate
With
Have one person be the one that the ambassadors communicate with. This person would be in charge of
relaying information and instructions to the ambassadors. This helps with any confusion. Brand Reps can
easily seek help and ask questions when there is one designated "Brand Ambassador Manager."
How To Get People To Apply
I. The Application
Create an application on the company website that is easily accessed. Announce that you are
looking for ambassadors on all social media platforms with the link to the application provided.
4. 3
II. Online Job Posting
You can also set up a job posting on a career board website. Make sure that it is clear it is not a
paid position. But, list all the benefits they will receive if they are chosen.
What should the application say?
Let applicants know about the brand they are representing by asking them questions that correlate with
the company. Example: Gearhead is all about outdoor sports and travel. They ask applicants several
questions about what their favorite outdoor activities are, their favorite brands carried in the store, what
they think they should carry, and a short example of an outdoor adventure they have had. Ask them what
they expect/want to do as an ambassador.
Also, if you are looking for an ambassador with photography skills or a modeling background, provide a
space for them to upload a portfolio.
Don’t Let Them Overshare
Let the ambassadors feelobligated to "like" all social media posts as well as "follow" all accounts. Let
them know exactly what you want shared. Whether it be an event, an ad, or just a picture of themselves
with merchandise, let it be your choice. If given free reign, an ambassador may post and share too much.
More Than Social Media
Campus Brand Representatives are a big thing now. Companies like Red Bull and Pepsisend their
ambassadors merchandise to sell or hand out for free on their college campus. Many campuses have
career and organization fairs. These fairs are a perfect time to set up a booth to hand out freebies, offer
sweepstakes,and show off your product.
5. 4
Campus Rep
Example: Red Bull gives their representatives "missions" to complete. These tasks have certain quotas to
fill and are rewarded with payment. For example, a friend of mine only gets paid when he submits two
photos of students drinking Red Bull and gives away over 40 cans sent to him in a month or at a certain
big event (like a tailgate).
Legal Paperwork
Brand Ambassadors that are just here to "like" and share from your social media accounts do not have to
sign for anything. Others, however, like photographers and models should sign saying they are allowing
the company to use photos they have taken or have modeled for.
You could also have all ambassadors sign saying they are responsible for filling on duties asked of them
or they will terminated as a representative of the company.
Tailgates and other Sponsorships
Letting your ambassadors open up booths at their university's tailgate would be a great idea as well. Not
only that, but you can ask all your ambassadors to use at least one of your chairs/hammocks and post
themselves or their friends using it during the game or anywhere.
You can also have your ambassadors sponsor a day hiking trip/beach trip or picnic using Kijaro products.
They should also post about the events before and during.
Keeping in touch
The best way to keep in touch with the ambassadors and for them to know what to do and when to do it,
is through a Facebook private group. The Groupme app can become extremely annoying and
unprofessional quickly and it is difficult to get everyone to check their email constantly. Through a

Facebook private group, you can post directly what you want them to share/post/like and your
expectations for them.
Rewards/Incentives for the Ambassadors
You have to come up for a reason for someone to want to represent your brand. One reward could be 15-
20% merchandise while serving as an ambassador. Another could be monthly gift bags with gift cards to
restaurants or t'shirts/hats/bags
Each ambassador could receive a custom discount code. They can give out these codes to their
friends/family/other potential customers to give them a 5-10% discount. Every time someone uses their
custom code on their online purchase at www.kijaro.com, the ambassador responsible will receive 10%
cash back commision monthly. There can even be a quota as to how many discount cards they have to
hand out monthly.
You can also provide Brand Ambassador shirts for them to wear to all events or just around town to
advertise.
Optional: A tally will be taken of how many events, shares, and opportunities given that you partake in.
At the end, you will receive a gift basket filled with goodies from Kijaro and more. The size and quality
of the gift set will be determined by the tally of opportunities you take. You will also receive a Brand
Ambassador shirt with your choice of size as well as small handouts throughout.

Community
Require your ambassadors to spread the word and attend local events that Kijaro sponsors or attends. Ask
them to post mainly on Facebook and Instagram about the events at least a week in advance.
Also, have any ambassadors that are in sororities/fraternities take products to their campus's greeks.
