7. ABC Alphabet Phonics Large clear letters Great picture/letter association Allows for shuffling of letters Allows students to pick favorites Child friendly illustrations Mixing of upper & lower case letters Does not sound out any letters Pros Cons
8. 9. My Recommendation Is . . . . Alphabet Zoo! Based on personal teaching experience of Pre-K or K, and from my comparison of the 3 tools discussed, I would definitely choose Alphabet Zoo to help my students learn the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. One of the best parts is that it is FREE, and can be downloaded to multiple devices without licensing fees or technical requirements. Lastly, one of the greatest selling points is that this game is aligned with the U.S. standards for phonics and word recognition.
