  4. 4. The Report Delivers Key Improvement Data Note: The full report hinges on supplying 69 individual pieces of data and providing all 69 is not mandatory. Clearly the less data supplied the fewer comparisons that can be made. In collecting data we would always counsel you to collect what already exists/is easy to first and then consider what, if any, special effort they want to make to capture other data items. Remember if no data is supplied the relevant metric and weak/strong scale information is still supplied. Who Pays For What? • We fund: – Access to the online benchmarking tool – Briefing in how to: • Interpret the report • Identify a course of action • Specify an improvement project • Access approved suppliers (brokerage) • You fund: – Appropriate improvement projects – Use of specialist suppliers Note: The decision to implement and effect business change is with the business and not a mandatory requirement for participation in the programme. However, we would hope attendance implies an intention to improve business performance and would therefore anticipate clients implementing an improvement project.
