These are the slides from my talk at #GaintConf 6/2015 If you’re anything like me, you spend a disturbing amount of time contemplating a decision — likely because you don’t want to make the wrong decision. Duh, obviously. Who wants to be a big fat failure when you can be a glorious success? The problem is, failure can be so paralyzing that it’s possible to spend our entire career simply trying to avoid it then doing what makes us happy as hell. Ironically, the same thing can happen if you’re wildly successful. Don’t believe me? Come to my talk! Together we will dive into the importance of failure, take a look at some people who endured great failures AND great successes, and then look at where they are now. The bottom line is this - if you just "do you," neither will matter.
