Super Kids Classic

2. Sunshine State Superkids is proud to present:
Super Kids Classic
A completely cost free, fun filled event especially for
special needs children.
We hope to have up to twenty-four or more special needs
kids per event from all across Central Florida participate in
a single elimination soap box derby race. Each child will
ride in the car at least two times during the event, more if
the racer wins a heat. The cars used in the race are designed
to carry two people, one of whom will be an experienced
driver. The cars are handicap accessible. All racers will be
provided with a tee shirt and a trophy.

We expect that a child will spend at least four hours partici-
pating in the race.
The winner from the event will have the option to go to the
National Super Kids Classic in Akron, OH, a national level
event, to be held in July, 2016. Lodging and meals during
the event for each child and a parent are being provided by
the National Super Kids Classic and we will assist with
travel expenses to the event.
There will be a hospitality tent where light refreshments
will be served.
Child Eligibility
 Must have a medically diagnosed disability.
 Must be at least seven years of age prior to local special
needs race (7-18).
 Must not have reached their 19th birthday prior to the na-
tional race date.
 Must not exceed the weight limit of 185 pounds.
 Cars will have 4 point race harnesses if needed.
 All children will wear helmets.
 Must want to have a fun day of racing.
