3. GROUPGSA LANDSCAPE
GroupGSA was established as a broad based Architecture,
Interior Design, Urban Design and Master planning practice
and is now recognised as one of Australia’s leading
practices, having completed more than 3000 projects in
Australia, the Pacific, Asia and the USA. This rich background
has now been complemented in the last eighteen months
by the discipline of Landscape Architecture, following the
merger with John Holland Landscape Architecture.

As an integral part of GroupGSA, our experienced and
growing landscape architecture team strives to provide

Experience in master planning, urban design and

of sustainability strategies and implementation of complex
landscapes means that from the outset the environments

landscape we seek to explore its environmental
and social context whilst considering its existing
character and sense of place.

5. MASTERPLANNING
With a range of complimentary design disciplines and a
keen understanding of master planning, urban design
and engineering requirements, GroupGSA offers a
innovative and fresh approach to the development of
new communities.
Research and consultation, together with the inherent
nature and culture of a site informs our thinking when
creating master plans. With a strong emphasis on
social, economic and environmental sustainability,
GroupGSA believes in creating integrated solutions for

6. PUBLIC DOMAIN
In the design of the public realm, GroupGSA applies
a philosophy which explores the requirements of both
the community and the individual in order to achieve
utilisation and an ambiance that is specific to each
site.
Using an interdisciplinary approach, GroupGSA
creates strategies and designs for imaginative public
spaces, ranging from streetscape experience through
public open spaces, which respect social, commercial,
cultural and historical functions.
