- Item recommendation is performed by an automatic algorithem who takes into account your personal data. If I author a specific kind of content, I eventually become an expert for that field. Now if a colleague of mine searches for an item like that, than search will try and see what other content I as the expert in the field liked and surface it in the search results.
- The highlight in this slide is analytics processing. 2013 exposes a big set of APIs for development needs.
