For me,
For this Reading Academic is a challenging topic to learn. It is required because most books and
references are published in English. This communicative approach is utilized as an alternate way in
the teaching learning process that emphasizes on language as a channel of communication.
Understanding the vocabulary, grammar, or comprehension, and other parts of English abilities such
as reading, listening, speaking, and writing are all part of communication ability.
``Communicative Approach in language learning is an approach that is used in learning the second
language or foreign language that emphasizes on the improvement of communicative ability’’, that is’’
the ability of applying the language principle in order to produce grammatical sentences and
understand ‘when, where, and to whom’ the sentences used’’ [ Richard, 1997]. Communicative
method focuses on language as a medium of communication. It recognizes that communication has a
social purpose – learner who has something to say or find out. ‘’ Communication embraces a whole
spectrum of functions and notions’’ [Richards, 2001].
Michael Canal 2001, said that ``communicative ability is formed by four
competences; 1] grammatical, 2] sociolinguistic, 3] discourse, and 4] strategy’’. Grammatical
competence relates to language system mastery , such as; ‘ vocabulary , word formation , and
sentence meaning,’ Sociolinguistic competence is a competence to understand and produce accurate
utterance in accordance with the context in which the utterance happens. Discourse competence
relates to the ability in combining the form in the meaning of a language. Aside from
comprehending the types of conversation that are cohesive and coherent. Strategy competence
refers to the capacity to overcome barriers while also boosting communication effectiveness.
the BODY is the heartiest part of the essay, it includes many fact-rich
paragraphs or subsections and will allow you to build upon your thesis
statement by providing facts to support your argument. This section
should not only elaborate on your opening statement, but also provide
insight into the methods used to conduct your research and include
investigative points or answers to questions pondered.
You also want to consider using a literature overview. The is achieved by
documenting the literary sources used to support your theories and
hypothesis. The topic of your paper and selected literature should
adjacent.
If you used any sort of data validation, this will typically follow the
methodology and literature sections. This is where you will highlight
your results and mention other veriables that you’ve uncovered in your
research. You might choose to use graphs or tables, but remember to
explain these to your readers.
The CONCLUSION typically does not offer new
information, but rather summarizes the main points
addressed in the paper. It is mandatory to also reiterate
the thesis statement and mention any future research
The CONCLUSION the students enrolled in Grade 11-
atlas at Aflek National High Academic-Edwards NHS
Annex for the school year 2021-2022 are subjects of this
study. Since Aflek National High School-Edwards
National High School Annex has only two sections for
