1. To Whom It May Concern: December 27, 2016
I am currently a student development advisor at LDS Business College. I am writing this letter of
recommendation for Josue Lopez. I first met Josue in June of 2014 when he was a student here at
the College. I found him to be a diligent student equipped with effective habits of study, learning
and discipline. I observed Josue manage a good deal of heavy personal issues while working hard
to keep up in his academic focus. I am happy to recommend Josue for his academic, professional
and service pursuits.
As a student Josue was a humble quiet leader among his peers. His ability to listen effectively and
respond with wisdom and good judgment won him the respect from fellow classmates.
It was a delight to observe Josue as he met challenges and worked through overcoming them in a
mature and responsible way. He regularly demonstrated patience in frustrating situations and
although a man of few words, when he did speak, he was soft-spoken and sincere in his desires to
understand, improve or aid in other situations.
Aside from Josue’s diligence as a student, I personally know him to have a strong personal moral
code, and a significant capacity to work hard. His subtle humor was charming and he was easy to
get along with in group oriented situations. I would highly recommend him for the rigorous
academic and work challenges he currently seeks for his professional career.
Sincerely,
