Object pronouns are used when a pronoun
is the object, instead of being the subject.
Object pronouns receive the action from
the verb, they do not originate the action.
Object pronouns are located AFTER the
main verb.

7. POSSESSIVE ‘S
The possessive ‘S is used to express that something
belongs to somebody and to talk about personal
relations (friends, family…).
The car of Mike: Mike’s car
The son of his father: His father’s son
It is used to make sentences shorter, so when we say ‘s
we avoid saying ‘the…of’.
The dog of the man = The man’s dog
The cats of the men = The men’s cats
8. POSSESSIVE ‘S
We add ’s to the ‘owner’, when the noun does not finish
in S.
The house of John: John’s house
In words finished in ‘S’ we add ‘ : s’.
The mice of the boys = The boys’ mice
La s’ is normally used when the ‘owner’ is a person or
group of people.
The world’s people BUT:
The windows of the house = The windows of the house
