Insights from Julio Caro's
Career

Julio Caro graduated
from Cornell
University’s College
of Arts & Sciences in
1981 with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in
Theater Arts and
Philosophy. Julio Caro
was a student at
Ithaca College.

Julio Caro produced his first independent feature film titled
“STATIC” starring Keith Gordon, Amanda Plummer, and Bob
Gunton in 1985. The film was written and directed by Mark
Romanek, a filmmaker whom he met while attending Cornell.
In 1987 he produced the film titled SIESTA, starring Ellen Barkin,
Jodie Foster, Isabella Rossellini, and Gabriel Byrne. The movie
was released by Lorimar Motion Pictures (now a division of
Warner Media).
After his graduation, Julio Caro joined the training program of
the bank of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York
City. from the year 1982 to 1985, he was at Manufacturers
Hanover.
