Seminar on Cloud Computing held on 18th September, 2015 Department of Computer Science & Engineering, KIIT College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized seminar on Cloud Computing on 18th September, 2015 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm by Mr. Anurag Kumar Mudgal. Mr. Anurag is working as a Sr. Cloud Computing professional at CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd. The seminar started with welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Head of Department of CSE. The programme started with introduction to cloud architecture and the benefits of being a cloud engineer. The concepts of private, public, hybrid and community clod were discussed in details. Mr. Anurag explained cloud computing in terms of Infrastructure As a service, Platform As a Service, Software As a Service. Concept of virtualization was discussed at depth. He explained each term and terminology related to Cloud Computing by examples of g-mail, Flipkart, Amazon. Twenty three students participated in the seminar. All faculty members of department participated in this seminar. Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Aggarwal, Principal of KCE NCR College motivated all students for active participation in seminars and workshop. Dr.H.S.Saxena, Dean Academics, KIIT College of Engineering presented vote of thanks.
