by 2027.
• Program launched by RISE Worldwide with CMAI, the UN in India with the
support of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. Of India.

SUSTAINABILITY AT RISE SUSTAINABLE FASHION DAY: • Sustainable Fashion Day (SFD) is in its 10th year with multiple industry projects, curations & IPs to its credit, seen as an industry leader and the go-to place for showcasing innovation this space. • Developing a fashion positive ecosystem in India by bringing together stakeholders from mainstream & marginalised sectors, to create awareness and opportunities. SUSTAINABILITY IPS & PARTNERSHIPS: • Identifying industry gaps and developing IPs to foster talent (or actions) working within sustainable fashion value chain. • Circular Design Challenge – India's Largest Sustainability Award • Circular Changemakers – Investment Readiness Program • SU.RE - Indian Apparel Industry's largest commitment to Sustainability • Crafting Futures with British Council • Working with brands and organisations to achieve their sustainability goals, eg: fibre companies, Govt. bodies, International organisations, Artisan clusters, etc.

Of India to push this sector with initiatives like Make In India, Skill India, Vocal for Local, etc. • Labels like Craftmark exist to certify authentic handmade artisanal products, in addition to international labels & certifications like Fairtrade, Ecocert, etc. • Environmentally friendly production: Energy efficient, Waste minimisation and Reduction of air, water, soil pollution. • RISE has always given a platform to showcase artisanal fashion along with designer collaborations and market linkages.
