Worked as a part of CHIPS CLAIMS application, Development Team of WellPoint account.
CHIPS System abbreviated as Comprehensive Health Insurance Processing System. The claims processing system adjudicates the
claim based on the business rules and policies of WellPoint VA. The adjudication process determines whether the claim should
be approved, pended or rejected, and if approved, the amount of payment. Complex or ambiguous claims are put in a ‘PEND’
status. These pending claims require manual intervention by processors to adjudicate the claim.
