How can Google Slides help you share new digital resources and tools for learning?
● Google slides can help me share new digital resources and tools for learning. I can embed youtube videos and programs such
as Pear Deck that allow for interactive activities. These applications can help me provide different and engaging ways to deliver
my lesson content. With the resources and tools that Google Slides provide, I can also use my presentations to walk students
through my lesson/course content step by step. This would be beneficial to them because it is more hands on rather than the
whole lesson being teacher led. This method would also allow more time for classroom discussion and further clarification. It
would also encourage students to work together as well as allowing them time to work at their own pace individually.
How can Google Classroom help you promote curiosity and critical examination?
● Utilizing the online resources from Google Classroom will help me promote curiosity and critical examination in my future
classroom. Virtual activities would help foster engagement in my students and attract them to learning, especially since
modern society is dominated by technology. Allowing the students to use Google Classroom will also allow for autonomy, the
students have more say their learning. As a result, this will increase their confidence and make them more excited to
participate in their learning process.

What are the benefits and/or challenges of using presentation platforms like Google
Slides?
● The benefits of using presentation platforms like Google Slides is that I could personalize my students learning. For example, in
Pear Deck I could create an interactive evaluation that requires students to select an answer. If they choose the right answer in
the assessment, they will pass onto another slide. If they get their answer wrong, they'll be redirected to a slide that
encompasses a video or another tool to re-teach the topic.
● Challenges of using Google Classroom is that it could be difficult to track of progress and grading with the embedded
assignments, depending on the program used. Another challenge could be that technology isn’t always reliable, students and
teachers may experience glitches/connectivity issues. Additionally, assignments and videos related to course content could
buffer; which can limit the time of a lesson.
