Kenneth Kuo, Co-Founder and CEO: Graduated
from NYU in 2013 with a double major in English and
Philosophy. Kenneth paid his entire 4 year tuition by
running a sneaker re-selling business (~$100K in
yearly revenue). For the past two years, he has been
a management consultant at IBM. He excels at data
analytics and is part of a 5 person strategy team
specializing in data driven strategy.
Linus Liang, Co-Founder and CTO: Graduated from
NYU in 2014 with a double major in Math and
Computer Science. Linus is a researcher at Tox Tweet
and helped build their Natural Language Processing
algorithm that scrape social media, specifically Twitter,
to identify under-aged drinking and drug use.

1. Men, ages 22-30, especially those working in
Finance, Consulting, and Tech, have no idea how
to dress themselves.
2. They have the raw wardrobe components to look
dope, but need someone to put it all together.
3. What they don’t need is a company like Trunk
Club constantly trying to push them to purchase
overpriced clothing that they don’t need.
4. The current method to digitize clothes takes way
too long – no one has time to take pictures of all
of their clothes.

recommendation engine that can digitize 80% of a guy’s
wardrobe in under 15 minutes without taking a single picture.

don’t have to take a single picture.
Once your wardrobe is digitized, you’re ready to Curate.
Merely select the piece of clothing you want to be the
base of your outfit. Our algorithms will do the rest.
Our algorithms will begin to build out your unique fashion
profile. From there, we suggest the pieces you should
purchase to enhance your wardrobe.

Customer Acquisition
The metric we are most interested in is customer retention growth.
We are uninterested in raw user growth – we believe that is a vanity
metric. We want our app to be sticky and have our users constantly
coming back to it.
The best way to acquire users that will constantly come back to the
app is through word of mouth. We are going to give the app
personality – it is going to be brash, irreverent, and hilarious.
But, we know that the best way to retain customers is to make sure
that our algorithms work. We will constantly refine and improve our
algorithms to ensure that we make our users look dope.

We see ourselves as the Gartner for fashion
and hope to become the merchandising
strategist for retailers. The user data we
collect will be invaluable in predicting
consumer fashion trends, consumer
spending propensities, and consumer fashion
spend.
In addition to our data play, we also plan on
monetizing through an affiliate model as we
drive users to purchase pieces of clothing.
