Career Highlights: Dept Planning, Transport and Infrastructure
Communications Engineer/Senior Project Manager: Solely responsible for providing telecommunications
advice to the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Signalling Team in a context of fault finding, diagnosis,
remediation and renewal. Also lead technical specialist for SAGRN and CCTV matters for Public Transpor t
Services.
Tram Traction Power Remediation Program: Solely responsible for fault finding, solution development
and project delivery of solutions to remedy tram power reliability. This role included significant solution
design, procurement, contractor management and working to ensure that tram services were maintained
as scheduled during onsite work. In this role I was responsible for the preparation of evidence to inform
Management on the extent of issues to form the basis of further action. I managed GHD Consulting in the
preparation of materials to support Supreme Court action to recover costs associated with the
remediation.
Operational Readiness: Leading a cross disciplinary team, I was responsible for preparing the operational
railway to acceptnew electrical infrastructureto support electric trains. This included a full procedure and
documentation audit and gap analysis and rectification work to remedy the gaps. The result of this work
was that Operations was ready for the new electrified infrastructure before the Projects department was
ready to hand-over.
Career Highlights: Attorney General’s Department
SAGRN Upgrade Project: Responsible for managing the incumbent supplier to the SAGRN (Motorola) in a
network renewal context. Solely responsible for delivering project milestones (network core, six major
radio transmission links and upgrades to 14 base stations) on time, to the required quality and within
budget in the context of a functioning emergency services radio network. Solely responsible for
establishing and nurturing working relationships with the 22 “customer” Government agencies that form
the customer base of the SAGRN.

Major electricity infrastructure projects: Solely responsible for the management of the design and
construction of major electricity substation and major electricity transmission projects (up to 66kV).
