Many Hong-Kong residents have begun to pay more attention to their health. In
order to pick up on these trends, insurance companies now offer health insurance
packages that benefit users when they engage in healthy practices. These plans
provide premium discount based on insured’s amount of exercise, and aim to
advocate a comprehensive health management concept in which people can not

risk profile. Customers with high health factors, e.g. normal pulse rate, low
cholesterol Index and non-smokers, are viewed as low risk and received cheaper
premium. Insurance companies have come up with innovative ways to track their
customer’s lifestyle. They make use of fitness trackers which are linked to mobile
phone apps and fitness wristband, so customers are rewarded with every single
move they make.

related insurance.
 Pre-existing Medical conditions: A pre-existing condition is any injury or illness
affecting you or one that used to, that existed before the start of a new
insurance plan. Insurers tend to respond with covering for your pre-existing
conditions through premium loading.

There are several insurance companies that offer Vitality Insurance in market
nowadays. Yet the redemption amount and procedures for premium discount
depends on different calculation methods from fitness activities taken by insurance
companies, people who are interested should read carefully to terms and conditions
of corresponding plan. For example, some plans record your average daily steps with
a fitness tracker and provides direct premium discounts on coverage of eligible
